Igor Stig
Hi! Probook 4740s (Ivy, HD4000) Clover (last), Big Sur (last) Trim DISABLE: all working good. Trim ENABLE (kernel patch OR terminal command): not working. Trim ENABLE (kernel patch OR terminal command) + add CtlnaAHCIPort.kext: working. But long boot, long any files and system operation. Why? How fix?

Walldemar Serbia
Well sorry MALDON, but I start to use MONTEREY today and I came across this thread and check and I have a Samsung 850 1T SSD and TRIM isn't working as per about my Mac show, but also I came across a video in TUBE that a Russian guy shows a PATCH for TRIM but the video its about updating to most recent OpenCore but in its plist I saw the patch cause while he was talking he had open in the kernel section. So I will experiment and post.

Walldemar Serbia
The Patch that the guy shows its : Find: 00415050 4C452053 534400 REPLACE: 00000000 00000000 00000000 Identifier: com.Apple.iokit.IOAHCIBlockStorage So if IGOR Stir are the same patch well disregard my findings, But I still may have another OPTION and that its that I have a M.2 SSD I believe its a Apple Samsung 960 and that one should have TRIM I will CLONE my Samsung 850 SSD to the M.2 apples and see if TRIM saids enable if don't well we got to wait till next release for me its not a problem, many options. Ok Thanks I will try that one Thanks
