Bilko Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Hi all, so i have been looking at OS X compatibility on my laptop and i found that D520 is kinda working only i just don't seam able to get mine to work. i have a USB bootable 10.8 from links to test for compatibility only i get kernel panic when booting. using a bootable DVD with iAtkos 10.7 on i can boot to installer using the following : -v cpus=1 busratio=11 usbbusfix=no arch=i386 i have tried to fix the USB 10.8 installer without luck using the terminal within the iAtkos DVD and could really do with getting this done now as its taking way longer than i should lol. i provide the following info for my device. Q). when told to $ rm -rf a file/folder is moving it allowed ? ie. $ mv S/L/E/AppleGraphicsControl.kext/C/P/ApplePolicyControl.kext S/L/E/A/C/P/.ApplePolicyControl.kext ^ hidden / dot .file to make changes to the USB installer i just boot the DVD then plug USB in and use Terminal as i have no access to OSX install and now Windows install either.
