-Procedure-

-Bios/UEFI in full default settings(Just change settings if need)
-Use USB2 port for easy installation with no remap USB
-Users with IGPU can use -igfxvesa bootarg for easy installation
-Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files
-Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead
-Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen

I don't get this.  I got the OCAT, but have zero idea how to use this.  What am I supposed to open with OCAT?  Change? Make?

Sorry, my first venture into this!

Do I only need to move the config.plist over to the install USB, or redo the whole thing?  By the looks of it just that needs replaced, correct?

Hi @MaLd0n,

do you have an idea, how it could be, that I have trouble to format my hard drive within the MacOs Installation?
I use an EFI wich was provided here by MetalChris87 and we have both the same Laptop.
On his laptop everything is working on my not (troube by formating the hard drive or booting into 'MacOS Installer' will cause a crash and rebooting loop).

Any idea?

Hello!

Booting from Pendrive, the installation starts successfully, but after restarting, the internal drive is not visible.
Neither opencore nor under clover.
Gigabyte H370M DSH3 (
Coffee Lake)
Intel Core i3-8100
AMD Radeon RX560 4GB

Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB
Crucial BX500 240 GB

Now Ventura 13.5 runs perfectly on my machine.

Thank you in advance for the solution

Hi I have the same problem... After 3 typical restarts the internal os installation has disapeared

  1. 1st boot I choose "Install macOS 14 beta"
  2. 2nd boot I chose "macOS Installer"
  3. 3rd boot, 29 minutes remaining...
  4. 4th boot, I can't chose installed OS (I can't see "macOS installer" anymore

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance

Hello!

I got to the point where the system was already installed on the drive, and after a third reboot it would reboot after the next error.

I have attached the screenshot and the opencore debug list. Please give me some ideas.

opencore debug.zip

Szia, nekem is ugyanez a problémám... 3 tipikus újraindítás után a belső operációs rendszer telepítése eltűnt

  1. 1. rendszerindítás A „MacOS 14 béta telepítése” lehetőséget választom
  2. 2. rendszerindítás A "macOS Installer"-t választottam
  3. 3. indítás, 29 perc van hátra...
  4. 4. rendszerindítás, nem tudom kiválasztani a telepített operációs rendszert (már nem látom a "macOS telepítőt"

Bármilyen ötletet?

Előre is köszönöm

I booted from a USB drive and the Sonoma drive appeared on the startup disk. By clicking on it, the driver for installation appeared at the next start. Unfortunately, it kept restarting after that.
