U can try check github search with igpu for ur processor

thanks Maldon... I've been trying everything I found, searching github etc... but I can't get the UHD 630 to work on my Ventura installation. I think I'll try going back to Monterey...

If you have any other information, it will be welcome! thank you so much

I finally did it, Maldon!

I don't really know how I ended up finding the solution, but I'm posting here the complete EFI folder and the config.plist just in case

For now I don't know why the opencore boot menu disappeared when I started the pc (boots directly into the MacOs), so I wouldn't know how to dual boot with windows on another disk either

only if you have something to help me with this dual boot and opencore menu, thank you very much!

Thank you very much Maldon... but the opencore boot menu still does not appear when the PC starts. I don't know what could be wrong... I am sending you the EFI folder as it is now (with the last one you sent me)

something that I notice strange is that I have two EFI folders on two different disks (I am sending a photo) One is the drive where the Ventura is installed (Kingston...) and the other is a drive to save files only (WDC...) However, when I modify the config.plist on the Kingston EFI it is also modified on the other I don't know if this could be preventing the normal boot

Many thanks Maldon

I finally reinstalled Ventura on another disk, because things started to go wrong

I will dual boot with F12 on my mother, for now that's ok for me to work with two OS

I did a new "send me..." because I wanted to use the previous DSDT.aml that you had sent me and it caused the pc not to boot, heh

I will wait for the new one, thank you very much!

many thanks, Maldon! this DSDT works fine!

I think everything works ok now in my Ventura hack

I still have a few things to adjust, but they are details to investigate:

- dual boot (for now with F12 on my gigabyte mobo I'm fine)

- I have the black screen problem when it comes back from sleep mode (something to investigate in the UHD 630 settings)

- it also happens that wifi disconnects after sleep mode

all things to investigate and solve with time!

thanks again!

I’m trying to install macos 13.2. It went through the installer phase flawlessly, but right after it finishes installing it starts to boot loop. AMD Ryzen 5 2600x, rx 580, radeon r7 360x

I followed the step by step guide but I still can't do it... and since I had some problems afterward to get the mac to restart correctly, for now I left it like that and choose disk with F12

I will continue to investigate patiently... thank you!

for now I have to solve the black screen when it returns from sleep mode

I was able to solve time change problems between mac and windows, with this guide:

thanks!

Hi @MaLd0n My life using mac has been stable, except whenever I update to Ventura, my PC restarts randomly several times within the day. Usually happens when I leave it alone.

Please see the log, it's the same every time.

Only bigsur do not have this issue. I tried Monterey and also has this issue.

I tried switching from iMacPro1,1 to MacPro7,1 SYMBIOS but the same happens.

Can you please help me clear this issue I think it's mainly VTDecoderXPCServ

Hi Maldon!

I think I've got a Ventura installation that works pretty well. I'm sending you the EFI folder to check, mostly because I think I've found a good setting for UHD 630 iGPU video.

however, the problem that seems to still exist is when the Hack starts. I have two monitors connected: the main one through HDMI and the secondary one through a DVI to HDMI adapter

I send you a video showing what happens a few seconds after starting MacOs... to fix it, as you can see, I have to turn off the main monitor and turn it back on

If you have any idea how to fix it, because I have searched and tried everything but nothing works thank you!

Hi @MaLd0n Oh so that's why it seems like it is being triggered whenever I import my large library of photos and videos (20,000+) and counting.

I am using AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB GPU...what GPU could you recommend that has higher capacity? Mostly the GPU in our place compatible to MacOS is hard to find or too expensive.

Hi @MaLd0n Thanks for clarifying it. I recently upgraded to Core Intel 17-10700 it has iGPU already.
Do you think it would be better for me to use the built-in iGPU than my AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB GPU?

or if possible use both the IGPU and the DGPU

RX560 is much better in our case.

-Bios/UEFI in full default settings(Just change settings if need)
-Use USB2 port for easy installation with no remap USB
-Users with IGPU can use -igfxvesa bootarg for easy installation
-Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files
-Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead
-Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen
