Hello,

I have an issue with the USB EFI boot.

My laptop has Coffee Lake and the BIOS has everything set as need. I boot to my Opencore USB, and click 'Install Macos' It shows Verbose and stops at some point to show a No Pro or Stop Symbol.

Hello

-Use USB2 port for easy installation with no remap USB
-Users with IGPU can use -igfxvesa bootarg for easy installation
-Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files
-Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead
-Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen

Hello dear Admin.
Before starting to write about my problems. I want to thank you for your site's support for registering on the site.

my problems after installing Hackintosh.
1. Not recognizing the Nvidia graphics card (it shows a black screen when booting and nothing can be seen anymore)
2. Some USB ports not working
3. Slow copying speed and erasing speed in flash memory
4. Low or low sound quality
5. Sometimes it hangs

My laptop specs

Dell M6800

Cpu I7 4810MQ

GPU K5100M

RAM 32GB

500GB SSD

I am using high sierra now that I have these problems
I did install with Clover. OpenCore does not boot.

Do you have a version without problems?
Please write me which file or which version of the operating system to download?

Because I don't know how to edit the efi files. If possible, upload the complete file. Thank you very much

Trying to install Big Sur with the Olarila image on my Lenovo Ideapad 530s-14IKB. I've replaced the EFI with the Kabylake notebook one and I can boot into the installer, however it gets stuck on the "Examining volumes..." text after you select your language. I've tried with NVMEFix.kext too and it didn't work.

EDIT: I also can't use USB 2.0 because this laptop only has USB 3 ports, and there's not a BIOS option to make them use USB 2 instead.

EDIT2: I altered the EFI but it crashes at 16 minutes left. I later found out the NVME my laptop has is a PM981 :(

I've prepared the BIOS and the installer according to the instructions. When I start my PC, OpenCore boots but when I try to get into the Install MacOS drive I get this error:

ACPI Warning: Unsupported module-level executable opcode 0x70 at table offset 0x1363B (20160930/psloop-285)

My build:
i7 12700
MSI B660m-a pro
RX 580

Do I need to do something different?

Hi,

I've seen that apple, since it released the first generation of M1 processors, no longer offers support for intel processors, starting with the 11th generation.
My question is if there is a possibility to install on a lenovo thinkbook e15 gen 2 notebook with intel tiger lake macOS Big Sur, Monterey or even Ventura?!

Best regardes,                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Andrei

Thanks for giving this guide I installed my first hackintosh bigsur and it worked! one thing I found not working though is my number pad on my keyboard and the arrow keys do not work too. I might be missing something?

Here is my build:

Gigabyte H410M H

Intel Core i5-10400F

AMD Radeon RX 560-B

I'm using standard A4tech desktop keyboard

Hello,

I'm trying to install macOS on my MSI laptop with core 17-10750H and RTX 2060 gpu but every time I try the installation text stops moving and corrupts (pictures attached)

I have a hunch that the usb3 is the problem, but my laptop only has usb3 so I can't do anything about it. The gpu could also be the problem but I don't know how to use launch args

Any help is appreciated,

Aiden
