Hello,

I have been trying to install Monterey onto my PC using the pre-made Olarila image from this link (https://www.olarila.com/topic/6278-hackintosh-and-macintosh-olarila-vanilla-images-macos/ and the EFI folder for my respective processor.

However, midway through the installation, I am getting the error message "Installation cannot proceed because the installer is damaged"

Can anyone help me with this problem?

PC Specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X

MSI B450 A-PRO MAX

AMD RX 570 8 GB

SAMSUNG 850 PRO EVO SSD

Where it asks to select the disk where I was to install macOS it says "the update cannot be installed on this computer". It's a Sony Vaio i5 3210M

Exactly the same problem, can't select disk where I want to install MacOS.
Disk formatted as APFS and selected GUID Partition Map.

Sorry if it was a basic question, I'm really new to this world.
I followed your solution and chose a supported smbios and finally have a new Monterey up and running smoothly.
Thanks for the support, much apreciate it.

I wanted to install MOS Monterey on my laptop by following this instruction but something seems to be corruped.

My system is:

Intel i7 6700hq (Skylake)

16gb ram

256gb SSD

Nvidia GTX 1060

I don't have access to a mac

And also I did what you said (SATA AHCI mode and tried both on/off secureboot)

Using a USB2 32gb flash drive

I followed the steps carefully but I can't go more than step 4 because before entering the installer apple's logo shows up and fills about 20% then a black screen with my mouse cursor stuck at the up_left corner of my screen comes.

As my CPU model I downloaded Skylake notebook EFI folder and unzipped it (an EFI folder and an __macosx folder appeared, at that time I didn't know what was that __macosx folder so for first time I continued without it as the recipe said but after facing the mentioned problem, for second time I copied it too and for third time I merged EFI folder inside it with the main one but none of these worked).

I also tried clover EFI folder after a raw reburn on flash drive because the opencore EFI didn't work out with reset nvram for both of them but nothing special happened.

Thanks for helping.
