Hi, I've got a problem with the macOS (Catalina) installation. The USB boots fine (I used the Ryzen EFI), the problem is that when the installer starts up, it doesn't open the Utility screen like it should do, instead it opens an Installer Log window and then opens another window that says "The macOS installation couldn't be completed". The only thing it lets me do is save the log, view it, shut down or restart the system. I've already tried cleaning the Nvram but nothing works. I don't have any USB 2.0 ports, so I can only use USB 3.0. I've carefully followed the guide and all the settings in my BIOS are set as suggested in the post.

Any information that could be useful:
SMBIOS: iMac Pro
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: AMD MSI Armor RX580 8GB
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3
macOS Version: macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (using the .raw file)

I tried changing the SMBIOs to iMac18,3 (Retina 5K, Late 2017) which made the system boot still but yet the problem is still there. I have never started an installation of macOS and I'm getting this error like the macOS installation has started already. Could that give a clue?

P.S: I can send the log file if needed.

Update: After trying to save the log in my PC, I've noticed that the folders Applications, Desktop, Documents, Downloads and a "myDocuments" folder have appeared in the Favorites section, it's actually like the macOS installation has started, but I've never even started it!

I found out something that could involve a resolution to the problem.

So, I fixed the macOS installation error by downgrading from Catalina to Mojave. The installation runs just fine, but, after I start the "macOS Installer" drive from the boot loader after the 1st part of the installation and after the verbose finishes, there's just a plain black screen. Nothing else, just a black screen. I suspect the installation is still going behind the black screen due to the PC restarting itself and the drive getting it's name updated from "macOS Installer" to just "macOS".

Edit: The problem seems to have fixed after waiting a minute or 2.
