levomac Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Hi, Maldon, I have got most of the things running, require only the following things working. to complete my setup: 1. Webcam not working, shows black screen, is visible in System report as USB2.0 HD UVC Cam, I have tried USB Mapping , Anyisightcam.kext, all other possibilities but it remains black screen 2. Bluetooth : mine is intel card so may not work in Monterey but after USB port mapping, when I make Bluetooth port as internal then I loose trackpad functionality In my case whether using, USB Map, USBtool box, Hackintool I detect ports, 1,3,5,6,& 10. Port 10 is detected as Bluetooth, if I make its T:10:255 To make it as internal then I loose trackpad function, as well as the preference pane for trackpad. And webcam and Bluetooth still don’t work.. 3. No keyboard brightness control as well. I ave attached the link to my send me file for need help on this issue. Can you help me to get only 2 of these working that is the webcam and keyboard brightness working, I can live without bluetooth functionality Thanks I am on Monterey 12.0.1 ASUS VivoBook X512FAC Intel core i3, 10th Gen ,10110u, intel uhd Opencore .75 Link to result of runme.app attached: https://www.upload.ee/files/13569888/Send_me_Levomac_MacBook-Air.zip.html

levomac Posted October 23, 2021 Author Posted October 23, 2021 Hi, Maldon, Thanks for the DSDT, How do I use this, should I keep only this in ACPI folder or add other SSDTs as well. I have done this, but no webcam still. It flickers once at every new boot on opening face-time and then black screen saying no input from camera for face-time. No overall change in my functionality. Can it be because I am using it from an external drive, I feel that should not be of significance. Do I keep usbinjectall and xhciunsupported.kext or lose them when using this dsdt. Any suggestions to proceed further Thanks for your patience
levomac Posted November 4, 2021 Author Posted November 4, 2021 Hello Maldon. Thanks to your dsdt patched I have everything working except for one thing that is WEBCAM. The webcam is recognized, seen in system report as in attached screen shot but the screen remains black in photo booth, face time and image-capture etc. I have used facetimehd kext, anyisightcam kext and the likes but this is still no go. Any suggestions, this is the only thing that is left , apart from that I am using this as my daily driver. Can you point me in the right direction to get it working. Thanks. What works: wifi, sound/audio, graphics, brightness, bluetooth, track-pad, keyboard backlight, battery. webcam recognised screenshot.zip
