I needed to put the keys in the MLB and ROM config.plist

MLB = BoardSerialNumber (don't need to be valid)

ROM = MAC address of ethernet converted to base64 (but can be a random value)

Looks like Chameleon also solved the problem in r2169

Install FileNVRAM.dylib to /Extra/modules (if you have ACPICodec.dylib, you have to get rid of it)

Hi i've the same iMessage issue... i use Chameleon-2.1svn-r2003 as boot loader.

i don't undestand if i've to replace it with clover boot loader before, or if there is another workaround to fix server error with iMessage.

I already tried to use the latest chamaleon, but I had to go back the older coz the system hang to start up

I tried to use the latest chameleon 2169 and i added manually extra/modules folder, but system hangs in the beginning..

i read around that new chamaleon does't work with efi partition..... could be this the isuue (efi partition created by older chameleon)?

u use only the module FileNVRAM.dylib ?

what u say only work with rev 2003 ?

how did u install the chameleon in /EFI ?

Thanks i solved in this way:

i update Chamaleon with chamaleon wizard (relese 2182);

i edited serial (17 digit) in smbio.plist (as u suggested)

i create a folded extra/modules... and added the file above;

using chamaleon wizard i remove the flag in module/ ACPICodec.dylib.

Now imessage works. Thanksssssssssssssssss

I get this message when I try to login to iMessage with my Appple ID.

I use clover boot loader.

iMessage, and FaceTime works with the Apple ID on my iPad though.

I am able to use my Apple ID to download apps from App Store.

But still iMessage and FaceTime does not work.

Do you think that to make ethernet en0 and wifi en1 should fix it, please?

Yes, I have Ethernet card. Which is USB Ethernet card.

I do not have it connected to USB now though.
