I'm trying to install Monterey on a Gigabyte X99 SLI and I get stuck on "Smc light sensor". I was able to complete the installation on my other Asus X99 board but not on the Gigabyte. What is blocking me? See screenshot attached, please.

Thanks

I did a new attempt today using the X99 Olarlla EFI folder and the confg.plist found in the folder instead of the one already installed in the EFI(which did not get to the installer). The installer launches normally and the installation starts but then it stops at the 15 minutes remaining mark with this message: "Error loading the update".

What does it mean?

Thanks

I prepared another usb installer using Olarila Beta 8 raw. The installation went on very smoothly until the first reboot when a message says that my computer needs an internal update. Then a Mac OS upate assistant window opens and shows a progress bar that does not load even if my computer is connected to the Internet with Ethernet cable.

I'm stuck at this point. Help, please. Thanks

I did exactly this:

drag ccpv into terminal / drag config.plist into terminal

enter

I cannot see what I did wrong.

I'm doing the procedure on the target computer running Catalina 10.5.7. Could that explain the difference between your resullts and mine?

If I use the plist validator with the config.plist that comes with the X99 Olarila EFI folder I am told that the config.plist looks wonderful, but it does not boot. On the other hand, If I use the other plist that is the that EFI folder, I get the error messages you can see on the screenshot above but the computer boots and it performs the first step of the installation. The problems arise when the computer reboots and tries to install from the target drive install.

Hi

I did another installation attempt today using Olarila Montere Beta 10 raw and the 2021-10-13 X99 EFI folder with Broadwell fakecpuid. The results were the same. The first part of the installation is done smoothly; after the restart, the same error message pops up: "Unable to update the computer internal program".
