Right , I understand that its not easy, and I've read everything out there, just wanted to know if I use the gerneric 2.20 bios, and i create a DSDT.aml file, without putting in those patches, just run the editor and save it, will that work, if i apply the patches from multishit, or do i need to apply patches to the DSDT when i create it in the editor.

OR, should i just run easybeast, it seems to work if i run easybeast, but no sleep or speedstep, just wanted to see if the dsdt would help these issues.

Maybe you don't need DSDT patching, but you probably need other configurations, read http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1703

redonkulous, Few things you need to know about ASRock motherboards.

1, ASRock motherboards will not support native power management, either you need to patch the BIOS or Patch power management kext.

Without the above the only way to boot into the system is with nullcpupowermanagement.kext and using it again no speedstep and no sleep.

2, Sleep will not work without a DSDT file with correct edits on ASRock boards.

3, You must have a sandy bridge CPU, without a correct SSDT no power management and NO PM = No sleep.
