hrzs Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Hello I'm using a Dell Inspiron 3268, tried making a Hackintosh with an EFI provided by "Gabriel Luchina" from YT, after doing all I've seen in the github repo, got an issue with the following: bootable USB works but then, it gets stuck on the Apple Logo with an empty progress bar. I did download the EFI from you guys, went to non-vanilla-way Opencore and made some adjustments (specific to Dell like CustomSMBIOSGuid, as well as the PlatformInfo thing). I stilll get the Apple logo with an empty progress bar. Could you run my config.plist on Opencore Configurator? I don't have a Mac. It's an Intel 7th Gen Kaby Lake config.7zi3.

hrzs Posted August 26, 2021 Author Posted August 26, 2021 It worked. This is being sent from the Hackintosh. Now there are a few issues with it. The color the of screen is incorrect, it is being displayed as with a magenta tint, also there is no sound from my speakers. Other than that, so far so good.

Macpig Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Maldon, Estou com o mesmo desktop, boot aparece instalador da Olarila depois trava. é um i3 de 7ª gen estou tentando com a EFI da note e desktop do Cabylake O link acima sumiu o arquivo. Consegue ajudar?

Don't use merge files -Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Macpig Posted May 23, 2025 Posted May 23, 2025 Me da um Help Maldon, ja tinha conseguido instalar (nao lembro qual OS) em 2023. mas agora ja tentei vários, Monterey, High Sierra, Sierra. e todas essas EFI que falei do Kabylake. (desktop, note) Quando entra na efi eu clico em instalar, começa a carregar e trava. Me ajuda please, que estou fazendo de errado?
