ru379 Posted June 26, 2021 Posted June 26, 2021 (edited) Hi, I installed macOS Monterey on an old hardware, all works, ethernet, graphics, usb, but when I try to enable audio with applealc kext and alcid=1 argument, it doesn't work. My hardware is: i5-540, 8gb of ram, 500gb hdd, nvidia geforce gt 710 and Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 rev. 1.0 with ALC888B codec. I tried other layout ids and same result. On system preferences doesn't appear any sound device. I tried to fix HDMI sound with SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-PEG0.aml and HDMIAudio.kext to conect my hedset to my monitor but same result, please help and thanks in advance. Edit: audio works on Catalina and Big Sur EFI.zip Edited June 26, 2021 by ru379
ru379 Posted June 26, 2021 Author Posted June 26, 2021 Ok sorry, fixed I just used the lastest AppleALC.kext and Lilu.kext beta version in which support for macOS Monterey is added
