why IOPCIClassmatch is 0x04020000&FFFE0000 and not 0x3b568086 in applehdacontroller info.plist (if i modify , not work)

why is Layout 269 in layout12.xml and not layout 12 (if i modify there is no effect )

the node are the same of mine in platform.xml

This is a topic specific to AppleHDA if you want help for your Audio

here is the right place, but if it's for another post in the topic right thing.

if you read the answers calmly post will find several kexts for ALC269.

PS: ignore any dsdt file attached with the kext.

I read all that was about ALC269 and nothing worked. I've tried to patch it myself and it did not work.

Now, I've tried those .kext's again

go to about this mac / audio look what id the kext is loaded.

and change the patch HDEF your DSDT.aml.

you are not using the kexts I sent using this or any HDAEnabler.

Delete any HDAEnabler or other kext Audio.

your id is: 269 and should be 12.

When I first patched the dsdt.aml, not paying attention, I accidentally created another HDEF device <_<

Hi!

I'm using Mountain Lion 10.8.0, and i follow this guid try patch my AppleHDA with ALC272 (Notebook Acer Aspire 5740G), but no input/output sound detect.

i attach my kext, platforms, layout,codec_dumps from Ubuntu and DSDT.

Can everybody help me patch AppleHDA for Mountain Lion 10.8.0.

Here are the requested files. I keep getting slight screen tearing issues after 3-4 hours of uptime. I also have a ati 6490m card. am just playing around with bcc9's post to see if it can be recognised using clover. Until then I am using hd 3000.

The HDMI audio depends on other factors, such as edits to your dsdt.

another thing is if your card has a native codec for audio hdmi.
