ru379
So, my problem is that when I'm booting in verbose mode, the boot gets stuck a while at "Invalid Argument (22)" you can see it in the screenshot and then it enters on a kernel panic and reboots, to create my EFI folder I followed the opencore oficial guide at https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/. My hardware is very old but I'm trying to give it a 2nd live. When I boot Catalina it works perfectly without problems. My specs: CPU: Intel Core i3 - 540 GPU: Nvidia GeForece GT 710 RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1333 mhz at quad channel Motherboard: ga-p55m-ud2 rev. 1.0 P.S.: I created my EFI to boot with legacy mode because my motherboard doesn't support UEFI. P.S.S.: Sorry if my english is not well understood, I'm form Spain. EFI OC.zip

I can boot into the installer but when the installer restarts and appears the apple logo and the time remaining to finish the installation, it gets stuck a while at “less than a minute remaining” after that it appears a window with the following text: An error occurred applying the software update. Please help me. P.S. I changed to clover because I couldn’t boot to the installer, in a while I will atach my EFI folder. Link to EFI folder: https://easyupload.io/u702sn Many thanks to ru379 for sharing your resources. I have very similar hardware to yours, your board is GA-P55M-UD2, mine GA-H55M-UD2H; I too am using a GT710. I downloaded your EFI from https://github.com/ru379/BigSur-Monterey-on-Clarkdale/releases I used your OC 0.7.0v2 EFI on exactly the same macOS 12 Beta 1 installer, using Legacy Boot as this board does not have UEFI (I believe P55M-UD2 is also the same). I thought even if the boards are not exactly the same, I should be able to get to the install page or even install with errors and then I can troubleshoot. But no matter what I do, the usb installer will stop at asking me to turn on my mouse or trackpad. I discovered the keyboard does not work too in OC Menu Picker. I have changed mouse and keyboard and also the ports they are being plugged into. The USB installer boots ok from any of the USB ports. In short, the usb boots fine but i can't go any further because the mouse and keyboard don't work, I've tried many drivers and kexts: VoodooPS2Controller XHCI-unsupported.kext USBInjectAll CtlnaAHCIPort.kext I also followed OC's official guide and tried with and without UsbKbDxe.efi UsbMouseDxe.efi I made sure every time I change a kext or driver i update the config.plist file accordingly. But nothing worked. In BIOS, serial port and USB Legacy both have been disabled. I then created a the latest macOS 12 beta 9 installer using your 0.7.2 EFI, the exact same problem persisted. Any help would be appreciated, I have been trying for days unfortunately. Edited October 10, 2021 by potatohead
