Hey Maldon,

I have followed this guide and managed to instal OC Catalina, which I upgraded to Ventura. Everything seems OK,only my old SATAdrives are not recognised - even I can see them in bios and OC screen.

Any ideas?

Use this efi folder

https://www.transfernow.net/dl/2023040446uB51Qw

-Bios/UEFI in full default settings(Just change settings if need)
-Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files
-Don't use Drag and Drop into EFI partition. Use Copy/Paste instead
-Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen

Need remap USB https://www.olarila.com/topic/14220-hackintosh-usb-port-mapping-guide-2023/

It works.  Thanks.  Is waking via power button the only option?   Not possible to wake using keyboard or mouse?

When I disconnected the USB port of my Fenvi HB1200, sleep work.  Looks like it is to do with the bluetooth of the Fenvi.   I need to use the bluetooth for my keyboard and mouse though.  Any possible solution?

In addition, while doing the tests on the USB ports, my machine all of sudden develop this issue that when I plugged in an USB 3.0 thumb drive, it doesn't show up in Finder and it shows up as 'composite device' in SI.  The funny thing is that if I leave the thumb drive in the port during boot up, it shows up in the Finder okay!  If I eject it and put in back, then it is not recognised like before.  Pretty sure it was working after I did the USB port mapping with Hackintool.

For the USB, I changed to another thumb drive and it is okay.   It turns out the thumb drive I have been used for testing suddenly developed issues with Ventura.   It still works on Windows and MacOS High Sierra but It doesn't work on Ventura and Sonoma, even on real MacBook!  No idea why.

For the sleep issue, GA Z590 UD uses USB 2.0 Hubs for all the 2.0 ports and someone mentioned that causes sleep issues.  As suggested, I wired the Bluetooth USB connector to a 3.0 port.  The bluetooth works and machine properly goes to sleep and wake up through a wired USB mouse/keyboard.   However, I can't wake it up with my bluetooth keyboard.  Any idea why?
