U can try set SetApfsTrimTimeout to 0 in kernel tab Wow!! I had no idea about the "problem" with Samsung NVME I've never had any problems with the Samsung SATA 850/860 PRO. If I had known about it before, I might have opted for another NVME like WD SN850X or something similar. That said, where should I enter that parameter? On the USB with OSX and OPENCORE? Thanks a lot @MaLd0n EDIT: Mount EFI USB OSX and use OpenCore load config.plist changue SetApfsTrimTimeout to 0 in kernel tab... The result is the same as image last post. I don't know what the problem could be that the installation of the new OSX doesn't even enter the installation menu. It stops much earlier. Edited September 13, 2024 by cachiputi

I already have OSX Sonoma installed on the NVME 990 Pro It's been a while since I updated my Hackintosh. The NVME doesn't have an EFI partition, and since it doesn't have one, I can't do anything. Is this normal? I've reformatted the NVME again with a GUID partition map and APFS format in case I did something wrong the first time. But nothing, it doesn't have an EFI partition. How do I fix it? OBRIGADO EDIT: Now yes, I have continued testing until the disk utility has created the EFI partition. Edited September 15, 2024 by cachiputi

My card is this one: BCM4360 Is it necessary to disable SIP and such for these cards to work in SONOMA? I've read on the internet that it's not recommended to disable SIP and such things on Mac for security reasons. What other option is available to have a WiFi card that works natively in OSX Sonoma (with Blutooth if possible)? Another question I have, is it necessary to patch the USB in OSX Sonoma? Thanks.

Maybe i buy this; https://perez987.es/wi-fi-6-intel-ax210-en-macos-sonoma/ How do you see it @MaLd0n? If I remember correctly, I already did the USB thing for my Hackintosh in Big Sur, theoretically with the generated KETX, can I reuse them in Sonoma? Obrigado.
