Are you connected on the 1080Ti or internal ? Did you try with boot arg agdpmod=pikera ?

I switched to a Sapphire Radeon RX 570 and my 4K through HDMI work so far.

My boot args: alcid=1 shikigva=0 watchdog=0 -no_compat_check (shikigva=0 may not be useful ?)

Did you manage to get your system running without crashes?
I have same board, 10900 CPU and a Radeon VII and 128 GB RAM. My problem is after 3 hours of REMBER test my system gets KP? I already changed RAM and used different EFI folders but can't get it stable.

If your system runs fine would you mind sharing your EFI?

Thanks.

Hi Edkroket,

My system is stable since two weeks for basic use. I didn't do heavy work.

Here is my EFI. Just removed BID and serials.

Hope it will help, good luck !

Ola Maldon,

I was using your EFI files, and the system boots in to installer for Catalina, no lucky for Big Sur. I installed Catalina but, built in ethernet does not work.

Setup:

Asus ProArt 10G

i9 10900K unlocked con CFG unlock needed, as far I know

XFX RX 580 8GB

SAMSUNG 840 EVO 120GB SSD

The system installed properly, and in the final installation stage if I check “connect to internet” the installer crashes. I finally check “No connect to internet” and the installer finished properly, but the ethernet as expected dors not work. I used the CLOVER EFI, could be different with OC?

Regards

Fran

Graphics works ok, in fact the card is recognized in the system properties. What about the ethernet is not recognized? Due to graphics?

Hello Maldon,

Sorry but with your EFI folder the ethernet should work isn’t it? I installed Catalina with your EFI folder with no problems, but the built in ethernet still not detected... what patch you mean? Sorry for deal you, I am pretty new with hackintosh. Let me know what I need to do. Ethernet seems to be the only thing does not work.

Hello

Successfully installed Catalina on this MoBo with the Maldon Help, but still two questions.

How can I enable VT-x and Vt-d virtualization? I would to run some virtual machines with VMWare Fusion and also run docker if it is possible. I enabled Vt-d in the BIOS but no changes in the results.  May something to change in the ACPI.

Second question is about to update to Big Sur, I am unable to boot in to the installer or upgrade from Catalina itself. In the last case the installer runs success but unable to boot anymore. Somebody installed Big Sur as far I had seen, could you share your EFI?

Regards

Hello Maldon,

VMX disabled in UEFI... sorry maybe I did not saved it properly. Now it works like a charm.

About the second question in my previous post? what about to upgrade to Big Sur? I tried and it with the current config and it was unable to boot anymore... I reinstalled Catalina back.

Thanks
