Yes, configure SMBIOS and inject DualLink property (not needed depending on screen resolution) before re-installing the video kexts

Removing all the video kexts in single user mode worked for me as well and i was able to create an account and get to the desktop for first time.

Which kexts do i need to put back to get full color and resolution?

I've Acer 4738Z running intel HD graphics 3400. device id is 0046 and vendor id is 8086. what i'm getting is 1024x768 display. However, the actual resolution is 1366x768. Tried all possible ways like using intel hd 3000 kexts, editing their device and vendor ids but nothing seems to work. I'm running Mountaion Lion 10.8.4. Please help

that is not intel hd 3000.. intel hd 3000 only in sandy bridge cpu

Graphics Mode=1366x768x32 or u resolution

later this in org.chameleon.boot

First of all, thanks to you guys who help people like me.

I have installed iAtkos ML2 (10.8.2) with GraphicsEnabler=Yes (checked) and also "Disable nvidia VGA drivers" = yes (i mean selected in Customize menu).

Now except an apparently minor problem. everything works, like my GT220 correctly recognized (albeit after putting my mainboard's patched DSDT in Extra). And that problem is I only have one resolution i.e. 1024x768, though my monitor supports even 1280x1024 32bit.

What am i possibly missing here? Is it really a minor issue as I suppose? Or is it indicating that my card is not properly installed? or....? Is there actually anyway to find this?

How can i add other resolutios to System Preferences > Desktop menu?
