Can't Reach Installer: BootCacheControl: Unable to open ....

Hoping someone can assist me. Currently attempting to do a fresh install of Lion via unishit method. Have tried every boot flag and combination to reach the installer, but no joy.

The process hangs at:

BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist: 2 No such file or directory

Bug: launchctl.c:2408 (24957):30: (dbfd = open(g_job_overrides_db_path, O_RDONLY | O_EXLOCK | O_CREAT, S_IRUSR | S_IWUSR)) != -1

Motherboard: Gigabyte PH67-DS3-B3

CPU: Intel Core i3 2120

Memory: 4GB generic DDR3

Graphics: NVidia GeFroce GTS450, 1GB
