One, sleepgoes to immediate wake and reboots the system. And two, for some reason that I cannot figure out, the battery icon does not show up, when I choose it , it comes and immediately disappears. The sleep issues remains. Unfortunately I brook my computer in trying to change the internal battery(cmos). So this project is over, it was really a nice laptop! Thanks again for all your help.
