stackoverflow Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 Hello, First of all thanks to the forum and the contributors for a great work being done. I have acer predator 300 PH315-651 Core i5 8300H coffee lake, 16 GB ram Intel AC 9560 wireless and Realtek audio Using Catalina image I am able to boot into Catalina but facing the following issues 1. the wifi does not work, I tried kext itlwm.kext and the related bluetooth kext, it worked once but does not work again on reboot. I have copied the kext on clover/kext/other folder both on the USB drive and the hard drive. May be I am not sure how to configure and use clover as clover configurator does not show any drivers 2. The power management does not work, the battery % is not shown - it shows 0% 3. Is there a way to Put the laptop in sleep mode? Thanks

I copied some kext to the USB EFI - kext\others folderwith which I can see the laptop battery % 2. However the WIFI does not work - even if I copied the lwitm.kext on the USB drive 3. I would like to know how to boot from the SATA driver I have as that still does not seem to work and I need to boot via USB only Thanks.

stackoverflow Posted October 29, 2020 Author Posted October 29, 2020 (edited) Hello, Yesterday I tried to update the clover from 5122 to 5125 on the hard disk and also copied the corresponding config.plist. With this I get the clover boot menu but the boot hangs. I copied the same .plist on the USB drive - from which when I boot I still get the same issue of wifi not being identified. Today I again try to upgrade clover but the installation fails(screenshot attached) So I am still booting from USB but the wifi still does not work clover_failure.zip Edited October 29, 2020 by stackoverflow

stackoverflow Posted October 31, 2020 Author Posted October 31, 2020 Hello, Thanks for your message. I replaced the files posted earlier but was not able to boot from HDD. I also updated clover to 5126 but it was still not booting from HDD. So I finally copied the EFI folder from the PEN drive to the HDD EFI and now it is able to boot from HDD. However it shows clover 5122. I also followed the guide at https://www.olarila.com/topic/5794-hackintosh-guide-install-macos-with-vanilla-olarila-image-step-by-step-install-and-post-install-windows-linux-or-mac/ but was not able to boot from HDD. Kindly let me know how to fix this. It seems that intel gfx intel 630 being used is not accelerated. Also I would like to know how to configure the fans and other configurations pl find the latest run me --- https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uLVk0piL4BtTRV9uBwFFRFlPbeLHGVW5/view?usp=sharing Thanks.
