TheLegendOfMart Posted October 24, 2020 Posted October 24, 2020 (edited) System: Intel Core i5 10400 Gigabyte B460M D3H 16GB DDR4 3200 @ 2667 Intel UHD630 Windows on NVME Mac on SSD Using the EFI attached (I removed serial numbers) I've been using Catalina for a while now. I decided to try Big Sur Beta so I made an installer using the same EFI. The install booted and installed but when it tries to boot into the OS for the first time it gets up to an NVME error and then reboots. How does Catalina and the USB installer work fine but not the final os? EFI.zip Edited October 24, 2020 by TheLegendOfMart
TheLegendOfMart Posted October 24, 2020 Author Posted October 24, 2020 Nevermind I installed 0.6.3 and didn't realise the config had new options for secureboot. I remade my config from the example and it's booting now. 1
