Hi tried DSDT auto patcher 0.6 unfortunately get the error below - all works apart from sound hide patcher also doesn't fix the no sound - sometimes its intermittent works at boot and then stops15:38:49: Pack Gigabyte - GA EP45-EXTREME selected.

Any help greatly appriciated

If you are using the Mac OS version of DSDT Auto-Patcher, do NOT use a DSDT replacement in Chameleon when you run the app, or it will be used as base for patching instead of the original one from BIOS. If you have a dsdt.aml in / or /Extra (or a specified file for DSDT key in com.apple.Boot.plist), remove it and reboot before running the Auto-Patcher.

hey maldon,

I have a Compaq 610 NoteBook and have been doing a little searching for my dsdt and noticed that it is compiled using msasl, microsoft asl 4.0. I have extracted it using the MS asl tool and am trying to get it to compile using the DSDT Patcher tool and am getting 3 errors that have me stumped.

it work fine after applying the applehdaDisabler and deleting the voodoo hda.

anytime i the voodoo hda for audio i get panic kernel. Any alternative to voodoo hda as to get my audio working MaLd0n

The issue is that my cpu fan spin intermittently and get heated in idle state so i thought with dsdt my problem will be solve i hope i am right
