Just following up again, the power button does not bring the computer back from sleep. Power button glows on, black screen no display but no reboot. Any other suggestions? thanks much

From sleep it acts the same using the power button as the keyboard. There is some hard drive activity and the power button stops flashing and stays on but no display. Unplugging the display cable and plugging it back in stll no display.
