Replaced the opti file with one from the 7th opposed to 15th and it worked. strange thing to get it to boot so I could do that I had to press o in clover boot have a look around change nothing then boot to the MacOSX partition and it worked so by pausing boot process looking around in that time it allowed it to boot with the 15th opti file. I did as you said and replaced it with an older one and all seems well except I still can not get sound or load the Wifi drivers for the meditech usb wifi adaptor Thank you

Hi MaLD0n thank you for the help, I tried it this morning transfered the new EFI by USB and unzipped it on the MacOSX image from within that OS and used clover to mount the EFI parition and overwrote the existing EFI folder. I rebooted and a series of +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ came up but it just locked and never worked again. ?

Hi MalD0n I have tried the latest version of MacOSX Catalina and have really become stuck. My machine locks after trying to sed any files to this forum. Im using a Meditech USB Dongle which I found the drivers for at v7 but I run it and it doesnt seem to want get the driver running I even downloaded some kexts from their website but to no avail. Touch screen did work but doesnt any more Im stuck If I run the clover configurator from the site it tells me its not for this version of OS attached is my DSDT Send me Slarty01.zip Added in 6 minutes 44 seconds: Der MalD0n Im going crackers here this is the 5th time Ive tried to post my DSDT send me file My broadband sucks so Im tethered to a 4g connection now My Catalina install works with everything bar the touch screen and the USB dongle by Media Tech I have the latest app 16/06/2019 USB Wifi drivers v7 but no go it wont detect it even though its in the sytem manager Ive dropped in the efi folder using clover to mount the drive and overwritten the relaveant folders. I try and install any new version of clover to add the suggested EFI boot parameters but some things are not im my lists. Please can you help? Send me Slarty01.zip

Hi MaLd0n Many thanks for the DSDT.aml . Ive placed it in the Clover>ACPI> Patched dir and restarted using O in clover and chose the DSDT.aml file I rebooted and a massive amount of text was generated. Then I was able to logon and restart and it all went back to a pretty normal startup. I still cant seem to get sound or The System details when I look in Clover. Im very uncertain of ehat I am doing and was wondering if I have done something wrong? Many thanks

Hi I have a Dell Inspiron 17 7000 series and Im not to confident with Clover. I sent a donation before, Im not sure if you saw my post. I have no Audio and just want to hide the drives in Clover but they dont show up when I look at the clover.plist file from the mounted EFI Many thanks Send me.zip

Hi MaLd0n I was stupidly unaware of the touch pad fixed that. The Audio driver is an issue though and Im unsure if this model can support the NVIDIA GeForce 940MX Please I am totally not able to search the forum whatever I put in it just comes up blank. Hi MaLd0n I recently decided to ditch my older HP and tried Olarila on my Dell Inspiron 17 7779 and managed successfully to get it starting quite well except for a few minor issues 1) no Right hand touchpad click 2) no audio driver 3) no System spec to be fair at the moment that's it as I haven't got a usb wifi card yet due to this being Intel. I haven't seen any Graphics issues but I think this Nvidia may?? be there, I read that it was on the 15 attached Run Me Slarty01.zip and donated $10 Any help much appreciated Slarty01.zip

Hi All Please don't flame me as I have tried the search function on this site multiplr times and it simply will not generate any finds no matter what I apply it to. I have a Dell Inspiron 17" 7000 series model P30E i7 7500U 16 GB RAM touch screen with Nvidia graphics and intel graphics. also intel wifi I was just wondering if any one has installed Hackingtosh Olarila on one before and the issues and steps they took. Not fussed at what version of OS X I relise Im doomed on the nvidia and wifi but was wondering if the touch screen might work and what would be the best distribution to use Ill use a usb wifi card as im not going to mess with the hardware too much, Also BIOS settings unsure of what to use in that area. Any help much appreciated

Ok I'm also having some major system halts now with Final Cut Pro X. It locks the entire machine and drops it into a powered off mode with tge fans all on full. Would that be a likely RAM issue and therefore a Dsdt issue?

Ive found the Clover Boot arguements but I can not see an entry to allow for uia_exclude=HS01 etc. If I could do that and save the results would that be to the config.plist? in the EFI?

Back in the game managed to mount the Mac SSD EFI partition and restore the USBInjectAll.kext from windows and delete the new things I was trying so Im back to square one.. MaLd0N should I take this over to the other thread .. Im exceptionally confused I have IORegistry Explorer 3 and I can see alot of USB 2 entries but Im stuck with what I should be doing with them. Recovery is enough for tonight Cheers Jon

Hi MaLd0n I'm really sorry but I tried a different way to do this as it didn't work now I've managed to get no USB connection at all just powered ports. First off I have to find a way back to sort out the kexts folder From Windows then restore USB usage as it was.. Can I somehow do this in clover boot arguments. I'm really struggling here Thanks in advance

Hi MaLd0n I have been so pleased with getting the system running I forgot to do some basic testson the board, 1) I have no USB front or on the back of the board USB 3, 3.1 so I cant test this awsome new USB camera ... it does work in windows very nicely. my board is a Gigabyte Z390 I Aorus Pro WiFi Motherboard running an Intel Core i9-9900K CPU, 8 Cores / 16 Threads, 3.6 - 5.0GHz, 16GB DDR4 2400MHz Memory (2 x 8GB Sticks) and it all runs of a 1TB Samsung 970 EVO M.2 PCIe Solid State Drive. x2 Dell UHD monitors x1 Samsung C791 monitor I also forgot my sound through the graphics card is either full blast or off I made a small donation, Please could you help?
