Hello everyone! I need help. I installed Monetey in an old machine of mine and put a 6600XT to give the machine a survival. Everything was working perfectly, but macOS started to give a black screen at boot time. But, after about 10 minutes on, the machine's video returns normally. One detail is that it started to do this when I started using the Display-Port output. On HDMI this did not happen. I used the installation image and files for Opencore from Olaria. The only change I made in the config.plist file was to remove the verbose and add the USB mapping. Does anyone know what can it be? Hello everyone! Could you please help me with the audio from my machine? I recently bought a Gigabyte B560M DS3H V2 with a Core i7 11700 processor and an RX580 graphics card from XFX. Using EFI for Comet-Lake series processors, I installed Big Sur 11.6 and managed to get almost everything to work. I'm having trouble making the audio from this motherboard work, the ALC897. I used AppleALC that comes with EFI, but without success. I used the AppleALC layou-id for the ALC897 codec (12, 23, 66, 69), but also without success. To find out if the audio was working or not, I changed the layout-id and performed the tests trying to play a Youtube video or an .mp3 file. When I tried to play videos from Youtube, the video would not load at all. The .mp3 file did not play the audio. In the default layout-id (1), Big Sur didn't recognize the audio output, but the videos and the .mp3 were played. Please could someone help me? I'm getting a little desperate. Hello MaLd0n I'm having some difficulty getting the ALC887 audio up in my config. I looked for several ways to try to make it go up, but I couldn't. From what I noticed, in AudioCodecs.txt, it doesn't recognize audio hardware at all.
