    i9 9900k / Gigabyte Aorus z390 Master - my EFI is based on AudioGod's OC EFI for the same board (with a bit of changes)

    I've tried basically everything I could think of but it always ends at the first Apple logo from the installer. I've attached my EFI, so maybe you could have a look at it. Thank you! OC.zip

    Hi and thanks for the thread and provided files. I've compiled the latest OC and kexts and started the Big Sur update from my perfectly working Catalina. When I boot up the installer from OC it runs until the first graphical stage, were the Apple logo appears but stops at about 10-15%. After a short while the screen turns back to verbose mode and displays what is seen on the linked picture. Again after a short while the system just reboots. Does anyone got any idea what might be the issue here? https://ibb.co/1zNtYX5

    Thanks for the new DSDT - it is working fine. I already changed the SMBIOS settings to 19,1 in my USBMap.kext and that is also working.

    Hi @MaLd0n, I've changed my SMBIOS to the now available iMac19,1 and your DSDT (from yesterday) is not working anymore. Would you mind to build me another one? See the Send me files attached. Thank you! Send me jeans-iMac.zip

    Ok, those 2 other were for the usb mapping with the usbmap.kext. Do I need the kext or any other usb kext or is everything working just with your dsdt? And do I still need EmuVariableUefi-64.efi for NVRAM or does this also work with the dsdt now? Thanks
