  1. Hi; Got it to work; I added the file to the ACPI dir and left the other maldon.aml file in there as well. Now the onboard keyboard is working, but the mouse pad not yet; and also wifi for as far as I can see it.... Will experiment a bit with it....
  2. Hi Daniel; unfortunately it crashes; I put it in the api dir and deleted the maldon.aml file, correct ?

  10. Hii Daniel; haha; I did as you said; installed Big Sur and the UAD Thunderbolt audio device was working well. Then, I migrated my old mojave system with migration assistant to the Big Sur drive.... Now the audio signal on the thunderbolt audio interface is gone again; What do you think ? Should we troubleshoot is, or is it better to work with a clean install and then put all my apps and files back without the use of the migration assistant ? Regards, Bart
  11. Hi Daniel; Am back in Holland again; thanks for your archive file; as far as thunderbolt with the Mojave ssd is concerned; the interface is recognized by the Mojave OS; however; when I select it in the general audio settings, the audio stream does not make it to the output ports; with your Big Sur setup it does produce audio at the output. I guess I just use another interface with the 'old' Mojave ssd. Do you feel like troubleshooting it or shall we leave that as it is ? Have a nice weekend, cheers, Bart. 12. Hi again Daniel; Here is an IOReg file of the old restored Mojave drive; I was too optimistic over the thunderbolt function; the OS sees the interface, but when I select it as the active audio interface, no audio is coming out the ports...; if it is too complicated then I use another audio interface that does work well. Cheers, Bart ps the efi file enclosed is stripped to keep it small in size. Send me Barts-iMac.zip Bart’s iMac ioreg.zip EFI.zip
  13. As you requested; the send me file sendme it.zip
  14. Will do and let you know ! ?? Aiii; it results in a hang .... Btw; I upgraded Big Sur to 11.1 IMG_6207.jpg.zip

Mother board: Gigabyte Z390 Designare Processor: I7-9700K Graphics: RX 580 msi I have made a new send file for this setup, fyi. Obrigado! Bart ps for the Mojave disk hopefully we can go on WhatsApp to make it work...? Send me Barts-iMac-Pro.zip
  16. I just checked with booting on your Olarila BigSur SSD; then all usb ports and audio work fine....
  17. Hi Dan; Hope you had a great Christmas; Am just back from work. What would be a good time for you to go on whatsapp ? I will send pm you my phone number. I am in the CET time zone here in Holland (UTC+1).

  19. Hi Daniel; just did what you said but it had no effect on both the audio and the usb 3 ports... Am now off to work for 6 days or so; see you later and thanks for the effort; I enclosed the latest updated files... preboot.log.zip Send me Barts-iMac.zip Bart’s iMac IOReg.zip
  20. Just replaced the EFI with yours; unfortunately same result; onboard (motherboard) audio not available and also USB 3 front side not reactive; USB 2 frontside still works. I made some fresh troubleshoot files.... Obrigado! Bart’s iMac IOReg.zip preboot.log.zip Send me Barts-iMac.zip
  21. Hi Daniel; Will do it soon; got my UAD Arrow audio interface and wanted to let you know it already works !Woaw !!! Ok tomorrow I have to work abroad for 6 days; so I try to replace the EFI folder tonight, or otherwise after the work period. Will keep you updated ! Bart
  22. Ok; does this work for you ? https://bartdisk.myftp.org:5001/sharing/bqcFp5s5d
  23. I tried to send you my EFI folder but it is 22 MB in size; I get a messsage I am limited to 19.53 MB.... PS I notice that the onboard audio device is also not available....
  24. Hi Daniel; Tomorrow I will get the UAD Arrow Thunderbolt 3 device so I can hook it up. One thing that occurs to me in the current setting, is that the front side usb, only the usb 2.0 senses usb sticks. the 3.0/3.1 is not detected. I have installed a Big Sur Olarila version on a seperate ssd (Works perfect!). On that ssd all usb ports are recognized; you think you can fix it on the Mojave one ? Thanks !
  25. Hi Daniel; Thanks. So I will use the current EFI folder and will replace the acpi and kext files in it with the ones you have sent me now; will be right back with the results Making progression Daniel! System boots; I guess there is some pollution in the EFI files because mixed EFI's are now used -- But the system boots fine now. Still, I have not enabled the Thunderbolt interface yet in the bios; will try that in a bit. The thunderbolt was actually enabled in the bios; Good; although it doesnt show in the Mojave system overview; but that is normal I think you said right ? Here is a IOReg copy that you requested; just to be sure I will also add a fresh 'send-me' file. Send me Barts-iMac.zip Bart’s iMac IOReg.zip
