  10. Hii Daniel; haha; I did as you said; installed Big Sur and the UAD Thunderbolt audio device was working well. Then, I migrated my old mojave system with migration assistant to the Big Sur drive.... Now the audio signal on the thunderbolt audio interface is gone again; What do you think ? Should we troubleshoot is, or is it better to work with a clean install and then put all my apps and files back without the use of the migration assistant ? Regards, Bart
  11. Hi Daniel; Am back in Holland again; thanks for your archive file; as far as thunderbolt with the Mojave ssd is concerned; the interface is recognized by the Mojave OS; however; when I select it in the general audio settings, the audio stream does not make it to the output ports; with your Big Sur setup it does produce audio at the output. I guess I just use another interface with the 'old' Mojave ssd. Do you feel like troubleshooting it or shall we leave that as it is ? Have a nice weekend, cheers, Bart. 12. Hi again Daniel; Here is an IOReg file of the old restored Mojave drive; I was too optimistic over the thunderbolt function; the OS sees the interface, but when I select it as the active audio interface, no audio is coming out the ports...; if it is too complicated then I use another audio interface that does work well. Cheers, Bart ps the efi file enclosed is stripped to keep it small in size. Send me Barts-iMac.zip Bart’s iMac ioreg.zip EFI.zip
