  5. I will try with 14,2 Symbios on my next test install. WIth my current install, after I could not install bc of "non-Metal" graphic card in my rig, I removed the ssd and attached it as an external SSD to my MacbookPro and tried to install on my test disk like that. Then, once the installation was completed on the test disk, I replaced it into my rig and using your instructions and the X79 DSDT you had kindly sent me, I tired to boot up. SUCCESS!!! I have included a couple of pictures/screenshots. Its wierd that it would not install initially bc it would not recognize my video card as being Metal capable, but then once installed, it correclty shows my Graphics/Video cards and is indeed Metal capable. Overall things working okay but I am having some USB3 power supply/draw issues which I will describe in another post with screenshots. Added in 15 minutes 12 seconds: USB3 power supply issue. My USB3 will recognize a device when its attached to the USB3 ports but if that device requires to be powered, the USB3 will not power it even though it did power it in 10.12.6 example: if I have a USB drive or USB Logitech receiver plugged, the disk is readable and writable. with the Logitech USB receiver, the keyboard and mouse will work perfectly also. However, when I attach my Logitech C920 Webcam/mic, even though the USB3 port correctly identifies the device, it cannot supple power to it. Even though the C920 is recognized by the USB3 port, it is not recognized by the System under the Hardware section. I have included some screenshots comparing the USB3 power and Logitech C920 characteristics in 10.12.6 and 10.4. Any ideas? Do you think it may also be a Symbios issue with the increased closedness of 10.14? Many thanks Turnipio
  6. I was thinking also...maybe Metal v2 needs more than 2GB VRAM?
  7. Quick followup fro Turnipio Tried install with your updated Clover for my system. Booted without problem from the USB drive. When I tried to install onto new SSD (APFS formatted), I received the message that Mojave requires graphic cards which support Metal. My card is an Nvidia GTX770 which does support Metal. The video card is not a "mac" edition though and I have not reflashed its BIOS or anything like that. The MacPro Bootrom was correctly set as MP51.0089.B00 in your Clover folder The video card is a Kepler chipset card. I have included two pics - 1st is the Graphics Displays screen from my hack running 10.12.6, the 2nd is the Mojave Metal notification. I tried installing with both nVidia webdrivers and without but no success. DO you think I need to reflash the Video card BIOS? Regards Turnipio
  8. Many thanks - I will try it this weekend Turnipio
