They are matching OC 0.7.8, but will try update to 0.7.9 EDIT: Well, it's weird as f... Behavior is different each time and not consistent at all. Sometimes it hangs on OC, sometimes it boots to error with IOAPIC and rarely it boots to the desktop. All seems depending on previous state of boot, which boot option was selected last time, also if hardware was modified or which cable was connected. I will do more testing and try to find some repeatable patterns.

It get past OC, but it stuck here: Console is displayed on RTX, the output on GT710 is not available. EDIT: Ok, it is working, I have to only disconnect display from RTX during boot! However, if I plug WX4100 instead GT710, then I still get the same error from OC that I was receiving with old DSDT:

Hello Mald0n, I want to use supported GPU in macOS next to RTX I'm using in Windows. However, with dual-GPU there is crash immediately after selection macOS from opencore. With single-GPU everything is working fine. I've tried to fix this by disabling RTX via methods from opencore manual, but none of them works for me. Could you help with DSDT? I've made two Send me packages with each card. I've donated you via PayPal and make that again if it's going to work .Send me Mac-Pro_combined.7z Spec: E5-1680v2 Asus P9X79-E WS (it has PLX chips to multiplicate PCIe lanes) RTX 3090 GT710 The GT710 is going to be replaced eventually by Radeon WX4100, however with Radeon alone booting stucks with BIOS error code 97. If it is with another card (i.e. GT710+WX4100), then Radeon is booting and working fine (but this way I can not give you sendme package with Radeon). Thanks! Send me Mac-Pro_combined.7z

Hi! I've found solution to my problem. Apple has changed i210 LAN driver during some update of Big Sur. New driver works well with mac ethernet, but is not working with i210 on my motherboard. To solve this, you need to force loading old driver version via added kext to OpenCore. Details in the link below: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/109718-problems-with-big-sur-macinabox-vm-and-intel-i210-network-card-after-upgrading-to-114/ Edit: I've stayed on 11.6.3, since other users are reporting Monterey is not working again. @MaLd0n, do you know this issue, and if can it be solved for Monterey?

Hi! My problem occurs only in macOS from 11.3 to 12.0 Beta 3. The 11.2 was the last one which worked fully fine. There are two visible issues: 1. OS freezes few minutes, sometimes sooner, after boot. Mouse cursor stops in place, nothing can be done. This usually happens already in the installer/updater, but with few restarts I was able to finish installation process. 2. There is no ethernet connection from any of 2 intel bullit-in NICs. The NICs are recognized, but DHCP can not get address. With static IP they indicate connection, but nothing is loading. I'm using latest OpenCore, kexts etc. However now I'm not able to run "RunMe" due to freezes, I enclose previous one from 11.3.1, but no update since then helped me with my problems. I’ve tried today to upgrade on fresh system without GT710. Mojave -> Big Sur 11.3.1 -> Monterey 12. It’s almost worked - instalation seems to be completed, OC is booting from normal drive, not „Macintosh HD”, but it finishes boot with following panic: Any guess?

It did not improve my situation. However, I've seen boot arg solution in other places on the net and people confirmed it was working for them. I think my hardware is challenging, it is old X79 chipset (E5-1680 v2 + P9X79-E WS) - i.e. I can not directly install Big Sur on working EFI, I have to upgrade from former macOS. The problem might be parallely elsewhere. I'm trying now to install with different card and make GPU change in upgraded system, if it goes well.

Yes, newest 0.7. I will try lilubetaall, thanks!

Actually, I already know I have problems. When is finał reboot after upgrade, when you would seen login screen, my display is going into sleeping mode (no signal) and I can do nothing to wake it up.

Any chance to carry over gt710 (Kepler) support from Big Sur? Apple cut compatibility until macbook pro early 2015 and last nvidia gpu was AFAIR in mid 2014.

P9X79-E WS + E5-1680 v2 + OpenCore -> Getting rid of DSTD.aml

Hi! I have updated to macOS 11.3.1 and OC 0.6.9. However 11.4 is giving problems. There is connection problem with ethernet, it does not receiving IP from DHCP and whats worse, whole system is getting frozen after few moments. I enclose runMe from working 11.3.1. Few notes: -XonarSTDeluxe.kext has stopped working, either from OC or S/L/E, could you help also here? (https://github.com/geneccx/XonarSTDeluxeDriver). I'm using it for Xonar STX, the only driver I found for this card. -USB2 is not working from DSDT alone, therefore I'm still using USBInjectAll.kext As always, I will donate if you solve my problems. Thanks! Send me Mac-Pro.7z -
P9X79-E WS + E5-1680 v2 + OpenCore -> Getting rid of DSTD.aml
szydl0 replied to szydl0's topic in DSDT & Patch Requests
Ok, then I will keep DSTD in OpenCore also, I thought the optimal way is different here. With USB it almost worked - Mouse is working but keyboard is not ? Port next to PS/2 is working, the second in the same row is not. I can swap devices, and keyboard works and mouse not Edit: I've checked the other ports, they are also not working. Front header USB2 works however. -

Thanks, will try, however my goal was to not use DSDT at all, as opencore guides recommend https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/installation/installation-process.html#double-checking-your-work
