  1. So, once again: Case 1). Using SSDT + empty config (no Generate Pstates, no Generate cStates, no Enable C2 > C6) results in "P state stepper error 18 at step 2 on CPU0 to 7" error message during boot and CPU working only at 1600 MHz. Case 2) Not using SSDT and having the config that you see in my picture, results in CPU going all the way up to 4400 MHz and the report I posted from AppleIntelInfo.kext.
  2. If I put SSDT (generated with SSDT Automator) I will get 1600 MHz only, or just 1600 and 4400 (which will result in CPU being always in max mode). Sometimes with SSDT I can see "P state stepper error 18 at step 2 on CPU0 to 7" error message. I can't figure out why. BIOS is pathed with UEFI Patch 0.3.9 (OSX CPU Power Management patches # Remove lock from MSR 0xE2 register). This is the best I could do so far with CPU states. What you see in the picture, is with NO SSDT.
  3. The mobo is Asus P8Z68-V Pro (with patched bios) and i7 2600K. No SSDT installed because the CPU runs only at 1600 Mhz. I don't know exactly why max turbo is 5900 MHz because in BIOS is set at 4400 MHz (I hope is a bug), but aside from that are my P & C states OK? I have no idea what to expect
  4. Did anyone tested this kind of board and can confirm that works with High Sierra and Apple's keyboard/magic mouse? Of course, I'm expecting to work out of the box. 5. Thank you for getting back to me, I tried two times only with overclock enabled in bios (100 x 44) for a total of 4400 MHz overclock speed. I suppose I should try with stock speeds. Anyway, I have he computer doing some encoding for another hour or so, so I can't try anything right now but I'll be back.
  6. Hi, I'm trying to run the Run Me app and I permanently get in High Sierra 10.13.6 (I also added Run Me in Settings/Security & Privacy/Privacy - Allow these apps to control your computer, but the result is the same): IOREG dump failed. Retrying Increased delay x2 for IOREG dump. This will take a while...(33 sec) I get to save the IOREG file, but for some reason it is not passing on. I attached the files anyway, maybe IOREG dump was the last step in diagnostics. Patched bios, Asus P8Z68-V pro (first edition, not Gen3), i7-2600K. I can boot, I can run High Sierra, sleep is taking 2-3 minutes to wake up from and the CPU overclock is not working properly: the frequency on Intel Power Gadget jumps only between 1.6 GHz - 3.0 GHz - 4.4 GHz (4.4 is the max I set in BIOS). I tried generating SSDT with SSDT Automator but as soon as I put it in EFI drive, the boot hangs. Will a proper DSDT help my case? send_me.zip
