I was wondering if anyone has experienced this issue. I set up the lock screen on my machine and about every 3 - 5 days I have to power off because it will not accept the password. Yes, I know I am entering the correct password. It started every week or so with 15.1, but with 15.2.3 it is every 3 -5 days.

I have been in the forum for a few years playing around with hackintoshes. I never really had any specific goal in mind other than learning about Macs. I still used Linux as my primary system, and my job was on Windows. Over the last year I have given up Linux, and started doing software development on my hackintosh. My employer is very restrictive on what can be installed and used on company owned devices. I obviously don't face that issue on my personal machine. When I joined the community I never thought I would be doing development on a Mac, but I am doing it now thanks to you! I just want to give a shout out to @MaLd0n and the community. Thank you so much for all your help. I don't really need an M4 machine anytime soon because this one just rocks!

One more miracle? I still have only USB 2 ports. Is there a way to get them to recognize as 3.x ports? Gave an extra 21 -
HI All, I just updated to Ventura 13.4 via the Mac (I thought) and machine still shows 13.2.1? Is this a glitch or did the update not happen? Hackintool says the same thing? It also says it is up-to-date? Did the update again and it worked. Very strange to me.

Hello Again, When I installed it doesn't see ethernet. For some reason the EFI folder on computer is named NO NAME and I cannot straight boot into it, I have to have USB plugged in. I am using the MOD files. Don't know what I am missing this time, but I was able to install with what I have. You are a patient miracle worker, so please help me again! Thanks, Loren Send me iMac.zip

That did it. I saw references to that as a fix but not where a definitive version of the kext would be. As always, you are a miracle worker!! -

OpenCore Configurator. I was pulling the latest, and found that you have a link to an earlier version 2.6.2.0.0. I used that version to do the remapping of USB. All of them work except front panel, which could be case issue. How do you figure out how to set the ethernet port? And just now I had Hackintool open and it is telling me that I am using open core 5 and 6 is available. This is where I think things got screwed up before. It is insane the number of times I have installed. I only can install Big Sur and then upgrade to Ventura. Each time I start the USB patch with OCC it locks screen and I have to start from scratch. Currently using Fenvi Wifi card for internet. I think if I can get real NIC working I can just suck it with USB2 ports and the one thunderbolt. I didn't have this problem on other system. I am using the regular desktop Rocketlake EFI folders and OCC is 2.6.3.1.0. It always starts saying that I have an old version of OpenCore bootloader. What am I missing? Send me Lorens-Mac-Pro.zip

I rebuilt the cache twice and probably rebooted about 6 times and it wasn't there. Then I started down the path of building another bootable image of 11.1 and started to make sure it came up, then lo and behold, I booted normally again and it is working!! ??

It is the Fenvi T919 that you got working before going to 11.1

Hi All, I just updated to 11.1 and bluetooth stopped working ? I was looking around and didn't see anything similar. Is there some regular fix for this? I have your OC .6.3 and of course all was wonderful Any ideas? Should I try to upgrade to 6.4? Thanks!

Hello Again, Do I need to change BIOS options for Thunderbolt? It still shows no drivers, but I do use it to connect my phone, but I don't think that counts? As always, you are no doubt the smartest man I know!! ?? Loren’s iMac Pro.ioreg.zip -
