Hi onemanosx im following your guide of youtube for the usb limits without problems... in the battery guide in my case I have to make a dsdt? cos only using the kext as is described didn't change anything... I'm also using the last dsdt that you posted here with the battery fix but it still not working. I have removed the injectors of brightness from clover folder but u say that I have two, do you know were it is ? I don't remember installing that kext twice. idk if its needed but im gonna attach my run me file againe. Hello friends I'm having some problems with my laptop I have allready a patch in dsdt made by MaLd0n & onemanosx but it only enables the trackpad basic functions. I have read here a guy that say he's trackpad settings start working with with acpibatterymanger kext but it didn't change nothing my battery status no gets show whit any patch that I have tried or kext. I have a Nvidia 1060, The acceleration its working... I have tried a bunch of patches made by onemanosx but the brightness isn't working, also the HDMI audio no works but the video its showed fine I read her (https://www.tonycrapx86.com/threads/hdmi-audio-gtx-1060-razer-blade.263379/) a guide with answers of rehabman it pretty similar to the change that I have to made in the brightness but its were im having problems lol. Yes I have rebuild the permissions & cache, also I have changed the kext to the clover folder. I'm gonna attach my run me files. Also if u can check why I can't make my battery status work because I have follow some guides & use acpibatterymanager kext but nothing... I have solved my trackpad with the kext that I'm gonna attach with the name "solution" & the patch that MaLd0n makes me, it works but it doesn't show any trackpad settings in system preferences or have scroll funtion any way it work the "tap" to click with it... solution.zip Send me Luiss-MacBook-Pro-2.zip

hi onemanosx, i have patched the kext an installed with the injector in S/L/E also applied the patch in the config plist as you said... but it still didn't working the brightness idk what to do now any idea my friend ? as always thanx a lot for all the help

Yes it is "PCI0.PEG0.PEGP" but i can't find were i have to apply that patch. Thanx for the patch but the brightness or the battery indicator still doesnt work... thanx for the help my friend

Do I change the version? Or I put two satellites? Elan and CHID.kext? I have tried that before and it stops working also if I use only child and i2c next

I have check and i find elan1200 under the name TPD0 but when i search on my DSDT i can't find it... here's is my DSDT, a screen shout of my IOReg and my IOReg Edit: i have also the question that i have an asus laptop so i should use polling mode or interrupts? I have windows in different disk I don't know if that would be a problem because when I try to apply the patch for Windows 10 I can't it just keep the apply button in grey, give me a moment and I'm gonna pass you my ioreg I'm in mi work haha

I have seen that guide but I don't see any "BIOS device name" in the property's task do u know if it's hidden or with another name in Windows in Spanish? I can't change the lenguaje because it's Windows 10 (without pro)... Then in ioreg i have write in the search bar for "elan" "etpd" but it didn't found anything... It's kind of weird because it seems to work but only in lock screen with the dsdt that i before attach... So obviously that patch might be wrong for my setup and I need another

Hi again MaLd0n, i have read the guide and try to follow it but fist because my windows is in spanish so idk how to check the bios device name then i read another guides and use the patch (https://github.com/haimann951/ACPI-Patches/blob/master/VoodooI2C/ELAN1200.txt) and actually works but only before i login because when i enter to my account it just stop working i believe that i have to apply this patch (https://github.com/alexandred/VoodooI2C-Patches/blob/master/GPIO/gpio_pinning_elan1200_asus-fx502vm.txt) but the apply button it just keeps in gray so i can't, i think i have to use that patch because the link that u send me is about gpio pinning but im not sure, if i use only the controllers & GPIO controller enable from here: http://raw.github.com/alexandred/VoodooI2C-Patches/master it just dont work im gonna attach my DSDT.
