No i have some more apple devices and so decided that it would be handy to have AirPlay back. So I swaped my usb wifi Alfa AWUS036ACH for the archer-t2u . chris1111's drivers. But still no luck with the AirPlay. On Catalina it was working well even with my old card. any suggestions?

Apparently I have 2 different sleep modes. One and the proper with fans off when I click bitten apple in left top corner and select sleep. It works like a charm. But there is also scheduled sleep ... System preferences Energy saver and here I can only select after how many minutes the screen goes off. and can prevent sleep while screen is off. On my real mac computer sleeps if keyboard/mouse not used but here the fans are on all night. Is there any solution to this?

I am using it with your dsdt for a while everything works well but i have noticed that most of the time the cpu goes at top overclocked speed. rarely below 3.7x core avg. Intel power gadget. On my old sandy bridge clover ond catalina i had speeds from 1,7 to 4.x. Any Idea of what I am missing? Regards

Placed DSDT.aml in EFI/EFI/OC/ACPI now I got two files there DSDT.aml and SSDT-OLAEC.aml Updated to OC 7,1 following your video tutorial run again opencore configurator's config checker cpu family Haswell open core version 0.71 and corrected all sugested entries is all green now but DSDT.aml You should not be including your dumped DSDT. Please review the [Acpi Docs]. You might need something like SSDT-EC.aml or SSDT-EC-DESKTOP.aml. See the [Acpi Docs] ScanPolicy = 2687747. Initially you want 0 here, but once you are up and running check [Scanpolicy Docs] for why you should change this Better Geekbench5 results motherboard speaker buzzes by the ond of test I think is overheat at peak. But still no Airpay can only airplay sound from music app as before. Send me .zip

Just installed Big Sur on slightly overclocked old Haswell i5-4670K with AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB. Seems to be a little bit slower than my older setup based on overclocked i7+2600k but at least no UEFI booting isuues and OC instead of clover. Everytlay devices in sound preferences and no screen mirroring in display. Display in system, preferences shows AirPlay Displays: off and can not be changed. I have no native wifi card. With catalina I had AirPlay over ethernet, even without any wireless card. No i have tried both Ethernet and usb wireless Alfa AWUS036ACH with utility and kexts (RtWlanU.kext and RtWlanU1827.kext ) from here: https://github.com/chris1111/Wireless-USB-Big-Sur-Adapter Is it possible to make AirPlay work without natively like compatible hardware ?

Thank you MaLd0n All steps as on guide. with two differences: Replace Clover folder with Olarila Clover folder Download Clover folder for your Chipset Downloaded settings kext did not work i have used some other files for EFI both pendrive and EFI on my ssd. Installing Clover EFI I could not find one of the options selected on the screenshot in the guide HFSPlus-64 For the rest I have proceeded exactly as described in the guide up to the reboot point 8 did not 9- Fine Tune, DSDT as it won't boot from ssd . Installed Catalina however my ssd seems to bo not bootable I can boot from it choosing it from boot options (F8) but only if i have a pendrive with clover. Had problems installing clover on ssd finally installed after running make my disk readwriting and sudo mount -uw / I can mount EFI on my ssd and make changes to config.plist but on boot i see same settings unchanged.

Thank you, Tried dosdudes before no success. However I have installed now and it boots up in verbose I can see unsupported cpu etc. Once booted up there is no audio and benchmark seems to be low. I have overclocked in bios but looks like not overclocked at all. what is the best way for post install? It appears as Mac mini mid 2011 clover was showing Mac mini 5,1

An update ... Managed to first boot and install high sierra. I have patched BIOS with UEFIpatch Installed clover on ssd after installation it won't boot but it does if i use bootloader from usb. i have run disable hibernate disable master then the run me. what else needs to be done to make it work properly? should i do this DSDT patching even with patched bios? Please help

Hi I am trying to install catalina on ASUS P8Z68-V PRO with i7 2600k Can't do even a first boot. tried Olarila high sierra too still no success. Normal bios settings bios updated to the newest no video card . I have radeon hd 6590 but i guess this one is not supported so it does not make any sense to use it. I have copied / replaced to EFI of the pendrive the Folder Chipset Series. I am booting with following: halt enabler generate CS and PS states. with and without patch apic . with fixMCFG with without debug dsdt. with and without injectintel . with kernel pm with panic no kext dump with appleintelcpupm and apple rtc. After successfull install i would like to overclock this system. I don't care catalina or high sierra anything that can run on this old setup. Will use mostly for adobe cc apps ps il and premiere . May add a video card later on if i manage to exchange 6950 for something supported. This is a no budget project and overclocked i7 2600k works like a charm on windows ... the problem is i don't like windows so hope i can install osx on it. Previously i had mojave and high sierra on sandy bridge i3 and different mobo gigabyte installed with Olarila images in that case installation was quite easy. I had impression that sierra was much faster than mojave. Which one would be better for i7 2600k? Why this time i can't get it to boot? Please help IMG_0829-kopia.jpg.zip
