To be honest, all I was asking was what version of macOS will run with this motherboard and what components will I need to upgrade?

As I said in the title, my last hacintosh is my Mojave system running on a z370 Aorus Gaming 7 Board. I've just stuck a new ssd in so I can play around on a clone of the os drive, but, as a lot of my other components are approaching "legacy", I'm pretty sure I'm going to upgrade some of my componenets to go past Mojave. Would anyone be able to advise me on wh`t I need to upgrade adn what OS version would be possible? Would a run-me be the best way to upload my current spec? Thanks!

but I have no boot option for osx - just the 2 preboot options?

Went ahead with the update from the AppStore install and seemed to go well but now I’m stuck at clover screen with options to Boot FileVault Prebooter from Preboot and Boot macOS Install Prebooter from Preboot. I tried the latter option using verbose, safe mode and debug not reboot flags and got this: I IMG_1483.zip

ok, got that but... do I just run the update from within High Sierra or make a Mojave USB from it? Also you said to : "update kexts and bootloader before update" Do I do that through sending you the results of a runme script? Thanks!

but should I try updating via the appstore installer directly or create an Orila USB and use that? Please remember I'd like to upgrade and not fresh install if possible? Thanks!

Been holding off for a while but think it's time to upgrade my main hac. What would be the best way forward? Is it possible to keep all files, programs and settings in place and just update with the App Store installer or do I need to make an install USB? Many thanks!

No version working with 10.9.5 Mavericks? What details would you need otherwise and how do I collect them? Thanks!
