Many thanks for editing and cleaning up my config.plist. I downloaded the config.plist copied to the EFI folder and reboot the laptop. Can't complete loading the apple bar. So I changed the SMBios to Macbookpro10,2 can load the apple bar for now but reboot at the end. Added nvdrv=1 to the config.plist and reboot. Now the apple bar loads and the laptop doesn't reboot. Reached the login screen, logged in and....... same error. Then I decided to remove the Nvidiawebdrivers and uncheck it in the config.plist. Also removed the nvdrv=1 bootflag. Then I checked Inject Nvidia, Injed EDID, Load vBios and Patch vBios. Reboot and...... YEAH it's working (see attached config.plist) Now I need a patched DSDT. For now I used the patched DSDT I used in El Capitan, with this DSDT my WIFI is working. The guy from this thread (https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/322566-asus-g73sw-macos-sierra-10124/) claimed to have most of all working on his Asus G73sw with his patched DSDT. So I downloaded his DSDT but I'm not able to compile the DSDT.dsl and can't test if that DSDT is working for me too (without the audio). To fix the audio (ALC269) I found this thread (https://www.tonycrapx86.com/threads/guide-asus-rog-g73jh-using-clover-uefi.242770/) but I'm not able to apply the patch..... yeah I know, I'm a n00b with patching DSDT. Can someone help me to create a correct patched DSDT with everything working? I extracted my origin files with Clover, See attachment. In the patched folder you can find the DSDT I used for now. Here's an overview of what is working at the moment: - Nvidia Geforce GTX460M -> config.plist - Wifi -> El Capitan DSDT - USB 2.0 - Batterypercentage -> ACPIBatteryManager.kext - FNkeys ->AsusNBFnKeys.kext And what's not working: - Audi ALC269 - USB3.0 - Brightness FNkey (works only with nv_disabled) - Backlight keyboard - Cardreader - Bluetooth ACPI.zip config.zip

Edited the config.plist but still same error. For full screen in Cloverbootloader I have to inject EDID. More solutions to fix this problem????? config.zip

After succesfull installing Sierra 10.12 on my Asus G73sw I experience a graphics issue with my Nvidia GTX460m graphics card. Without the Nvidiawebdrivers I can only boot with the nvdisable=1 bootflag and with the Nvidiawebdrivers installed I can boot Sierra normally untill I logged in to the system. My screen looks like {censored}, see attached picture. Can someone help me? CLOVER.zip

I’ve a sort of the same problem. After finally successfull installing macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 on my Asus G73sw, with I7-2630QM (2nd gen) CPU / HM65 chipset and nVidia GTX460m, I can’t login after installing the nVidia webdrivers. What have I done so far. After successfull installing High Sierra I first Installed Clover with AFPS.efi and OSXaptiofixdrv.efi. Then I edited the config.plist I used to install High Sierra. In the edited config.plist I’ve unchecked nv_disabled=1 and Inject intel and checked nvda_drv=1 and Inject NvidiaWeb. The SMBios I used is MacbookPro8,2 with a changed product name to iMac13,2. After editing I copied the config.plist to the EFI partition. Then I installed Lilu.kext and Whatevergreen.kext with kextutility and also copied them for sure to the drivers64UEFI folder on the EFI partition. Then I installed https://images.nvidia.com/mac/pkg/387/WebDriver-387.10.10.10.40.105.pkg and reboot the laptop. After loading the half of the apple bar the screen screen flicker once and sets the resolution correctly. Then I reached the login screen. After typing my password and hit enter the screen goes white and won’t login. Then I retype my password and hit enter. Now the laptop reboots. The only way to reach the desktop is with nv_disabled=1 bootflag. Can someone please help me. Clover.zip

Hello everyone, I've a problem to do the Native Power Management patch to get the PC awake after sleep. I want to use the MacBookPro8,2 SMBIOS because this MacBookPro comes close to my CPU. When I'm trying to generate the MacBookPro8,2 SMBIOS with CloverConfigurator and inject Nvidia and boot with nvda_drv=1 and add the board-id to GraphicsDevicePolicy.kext. After reboot the apple logo shows up, loader start loading, at the end I get a black screen. The strange part is that when I generate the MacBookPro8,2 SMBIOS with CloverConfigurator and ONLY change the productname to iMac13,2, inject Nvidia and boot with nvda_drv=1 and add the board-id to GraphicsDevicePolicy.kext. After reboot the mac boots well. But I can't run ./ssdtPRGen.sh because the board-ID mismatch model. The problem is that there isn't a SMBIOS with SandyBridge and Nvidia. Hope someone can help me!

Finally i have got a Yosemite install with audio installed But i can't boot Yosemite with this board-id in the config.plist and in /System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsControl.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext/Contents/Info.plist Mac-942459F5819B171B none The other board-ID works fine with injected kext in Clover

I know, but with witch settings have you installed Clover on your USB and on your Yosemite?

Can you attached the new DSDT.aml? or do you updated the DSDT.aml in the attached zip file in your first post?

Is it possible that it comes through Clover? I have installed Clover not as UEFI on an EFI partition, i installed it with boot0af MBR???? Can you tell me step by step how you installed yosemite with working audio?

I hope so! The first time I downloaded the zip with Windows, install yosemite and expand the zip and install the kexts, everything works except audio. Than I downloaded the zip file again through Mac, but when I download the package iT isn't a zip file it is a folder. Than I install the HDA269 again. Than reboot the pc start Mac, while loading the Apple logo the screen goes black and the pc reboots. Now i have no idea, i have tried iT Now for so many times.....

How can i see wich alc i have? For Mavericks iT works with the alc269

I have expand the zip file in osx, install the kext with kext utility but I have no sound, AppleHDA and AppleHDAALC269 are both in s/L/E folder

Kext-dev-mode=1 is in the config.plist so that must be good

For step 7 I have to install the kexts using kextwizzard and after installing i need to repair en fix permission. Than Will everything work? Including audio?
