I have this same model, I recorded the image of Catalina Olarila on a 16gb pendrive. I mounted the EFI partition and copied the files from its Clover folder. During the BIOS settings, I didn't find the SATA options to see if it was in IDE or AHCI.
After some configurations in CLOVER, I managed to boot the installer, formatted my 240gb SSD Crucial in APFS and the installer did not recognize it, presenting the message "This version of MACos cannot be installed on this computer".
I tried other formats in the Disk Utility, such as Mac OS Extended, but the same is true.
I tried to format both partitions and devices.
Could anyone help me with this?
