It depends on which application you are using from the suite, for example After Effects CC 2020 is compatible with High Sierra but Premiere Pro 2020 and Photoshop CC 2020 requires both Mojave at least, check Adobe system requirements for more details, link here : https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html I'm quite sure all CC 2018 apps are compatible with High Sierra, and most of CC 2019 are too, no need to go back to CS6 don't worry! But double check with google to be sure about compatibility on each app you want to use.

Both GT710 and RX560 would be quite bad at running adobe programs smoothly, I would recommend using at least one RX580 (you can buy an used one which could be quite cheap), but if you stick to these solutions I would advice you to take the RX560 which is far better than GT710, here is the comparison of the two cards from userbenchmarks : https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GeForce-GT-710-vs-AMD-RX-560/m77649vs3926 Have a great evening MSTRKKRFT

Hi @MaLd0n, I just found this post today about performance improvement with Navi and Vega cards thanks to a dedicated SSDT which should properly assign framebuffer : https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/amd-radeon-performance-enhanced-ssdt.296555/ I tried the method explained here but I didn't noticed any performance change (using Geekbench 5.3.0 Compute benchmark in OpenCL and Metal) So my question is quite simple : did you already implemented this in the DSDT you provided to me ? Or maybe it is directly included in WEG now ? Also, should I use https://github.com/Pavo-IM/AGPMInjector with my config ? (iMac19,1 and MSI RX Vega64) Because as I understood we should have a control-id of 0x12 which is not the case for me as I have a control-id of 0x11 as showed in the screenshot here : https://imgur.com/a/J11MyVi If any case, thank you again for your work and help! Have a nice day MSTRKKRFT

@MaLd0n Problem solved with the antenna extender! I think my desk was too thick for the bluetooth to pass through. I even have bluetooth back in BIOS/OC bootloader, it came back like it left, from one restart to another without changing anything in the system configuration, this was a really strange issue ahah Thanks again for your help!! -

Ok great, can I replace USBInjectAll & XHCI Unsupported with my USBPorts.kext then ? I will wait for this antenna extender, it's arriving on monday, will keep you in touch after the installation Thanks again, have a great weekend -

Ok I'm trying that right now, here is the send me file with USBInjectAll & XHCI Unsupported used : Send me iMac-Pro-de-Romain.zip I also ordered an antenna extension to be sure it's not related to hardware issue. Thanks and have a great evening! EDIT : I still have some lags with USBInjectAll & XHCI Unsupported -

Thanks a lot, Im' trying this OC folder right now. I just had to remove USBInjectAll & XHCI Unsupported and replace them with my USBPort.kext in order to get my USB ports working (no bluetooth and USB2.0 ports not working out of the box with your folder). For now the keyboard is working great, will keep you in touch if it lags again. I still don't have bluetooth keyboard support in BIOS / OC boot picker, but I tried to revert to my working Clover config and it didn't make any difference, still no bluetooth, so I really don't know why it was working before and it's not now... Could it be something related to NVRAM ? Here is a send_me file with the OC folder you sent me : Send me iMac-Pro-de-Romain.zip EDIT : After a few minutes working it starts to lag again... ☹️ -

Also I noticed something, a few reboots before I was able to use my BT keyboard in BIOS and in OC boot picker, but it's not the case anymore (I have to plug a USB keyboard if I want to modify bios settings or choose the boot option in OC). I didn't changed anything in BIOS settings. I noticed that the boot screen (with aorus logo) is lasting a lot longer than before as well, it's like nothing happens for a few seconds and then USB ports are activated (I can see it because the leds of the keyboard/mouse are lighting up at this moment), and then it switches to OC boot picker quite fast after USB activation. I also have some latency with the bluetooth keyboard sometimes, switching it on and off solve the problem but it occurs quite often. I tried to remove AirportBcmFixup.kext because I should not need it but it doesn't help with any of the problems. Here is a new send_me file with this kext removed. Send me iMac-de-Romain.zip Edit : I want to add that everything was working with Clover, I had none of these problems with the same kexts used, so I think it's related to OC configuration -

Thank you so much!! Everything is working now with a few tweaks, all PCI devices are showed in System Report. I switched to iMac19,1 SMSBios which made full HW decoding working (H24 & H265), used OC sanity checker to change some options in OC and match my system, updated all kexts/drivers to last version and made USBPorts.kext with Hackintool. OC is now my main driver, I installed it on my SSD. Here is the send_me file with this setup ? Tell me if you see anything I should add/remove. Have a great day! Send me iMac-Pro-de-Romain.zip -

Thanks! Every usb ports are showed right now, bluetooth is working with your folder, here is the send_me file : Send me iMac-Pro-de-Romain.zip But I don't have full HW acceleration with this folder, only H265 not H264 I also made a cleaner OC folder, removed unecessary kexts and drivers, and updated OC to last stable version. Hi! Thanks for this updated DSDT file :) I had problems when updating clover from r5122 to r5124 (black screen on boot), so I decided to follow your Vanilla Guide for installing OpenCore bootloader. Everything works great except for USB (again...), I can't make a working USBMap.kext or USBPorts.kext, my internal USB2 hub (for bluetooth) is not recognized at all. I used this tutorial : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7PNgpg9ojg I mean, when I use USBInjectAll.kext + XhciPortLimit Quirks (in OC) (i've tried with or without xhci unsupported kext, it doesn't make any difference, but I should not need it with my MB) and try to map ports either with USBMap command line or Hackintool I don't see any HS11 showed up (which is the internal USB2 hub on my MB), and in general I have less ports showed in hackintool than when I use USBInjectAll.kext with clover. I'm still using the usb stick to boot in order to not mess with the system, because on the first try installing OC this morning I made a mistake, which lead to error on boot and I wasn't able to load my working clover bootable USB stick, OpenCore was overriding clover kexts injection and so I had to format my system drive and start from scratch (yeah, that was a long day, I have no secondary bootable drive?) I also try to manually activate this HS11 port by adding it manually in Hackintool but no luck... Also, I tried the DSDT.aml file on OpenCore but it's not working, so I'm only using SSDT-OLARILA.aml for now. Could you help me with that ? Here is the send_me file of the system booted with OC usb stick, and the EFI folder from that USB Stick. Send me iMac-Pro-de-Romain.zip EFI.zip -

Yep thanks, figured out USBPorts.kext was the problem! I fixed it, everything seems to work great now, I guess I don't need a new DSDT file right ? Just in case, here is the send_me file with everything working : Send me iMac-Pro.zip -
Hello! Just bought the Fenvi T919 today, wifi worked out of the box but bluetooth is not working yet (it says "bluetooth is not available" and the little bluetooth icon in the menubar is grey with a sawtooth on it). The usb header is attached on the motherboard, bluetooth is detected but not working. I think this is due to the orico usb bluetooth adapter I had before, a proper DSDT file should do the trick, so here is my actual DSDT.aml and the new send_me file made with Fenvi T919 plugged in and orico usb removed. Thanks for your help, MSTRKKRFT DSDT.aml Send me iMac-Pro.zip

[NEED HELP] Adobe Media Encoder not encoding Premiere sequences
MSTRKKRFT replied to MSTRKKRFT's topic in Mojave (10.14)
I've installed your Clover folder, then I reinstalled Media Encoder (just to be sure everything is clean), and I think it's working now! I still can't export converted Premiere Pro 2018 projects in PPro 2019 via Media Encoder (which works without any problem on my MacBook Pro) but for a new sequence made directly into PPro 2019 it seems that everything is working now. Will keep you updated about that in this thread, but the problem seems to be solved!! I've noticed you added AirportBrcmFixup.kext in Kext folder, is it really needed ? Because I don't have wifi. And one last question, do you suggest installing kexts in /L/E or injecting them from Clover ? I've seen so many different point of view among forums. Thanks again for your help @MaLd0n !! ? -
[NEED HELP] Adobe Media Encoder not encoding Premiere sequences
MSTRKKRFT replied to MSTRKKRFT's topic in Mojave (10.14)
Thanks for your help, just tried that (disabled iGPU in BIOS, removed "InjectIntel" and changed to iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS in Clover) and the problem is still there. I did let iGFX as primary option in BIOS, maybe I should use PEG instead ? But on the other hand I now have full HW acceleration (H264+HEVC), instead of H264 only before that, so that's definitely a good start Here is the new Send Me file : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1z-ZJ6LMu1o5LR_6fPgdShV66QrqK0FKW -
Hello! I'm facing an issue with AME 2019/2020 (everything is fine with AME 2018) : when I queue a sequence from Premiere the encoding just wont start (no error code). (see screenshot here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1itxWVhDXGAqIvHCSJL_JjdRoevkgk9uT/view?usp=sharing) I've tried to do that with new project made in PP2020 and with existing projects as well (made in PP2018), same issue. However, if i directly use a video file to transcode in AME (H264 MOV file) with exact same preset as the Premiere Sequence (H264, VBR8, tried with HW acceleration and with Software only) there is no problem, encoding starts directly. Tried to export to ProRes as well, same issue with Premiere sequences, no issue with transcoding video file. Tried with Metal/OpenGL/Software Only : same issue Also deleting Cache, reseting AME, and every common practice to solve issues in general didn't helped with my problem. I've managed to export a sequence from Premiere a few times, this is how I did it : 1- Create new PP2020 project (Test2020.prproj) 2- Imported a H264 1080p (50 fps) footage from my GH4 3- Create a new sequence from this clip 4- Queue the sequence in AME 5- Nothing happens, AME stuck on "Ready" like explained 6- Went to this folder where - I guess - AME creates a temp project file for the export "/var/folders/d2/v4h7x_fn4d7gfdvxz8ychjym0000gn/T/" 7- Opened "Test2020.prproj" from this folder in Premiere 8- Queue the sequence in AME 9- AME encoded the sequence properly, I've tried different format and everything was working This solution is not working all the time, didn't really find a pattern yet. One more information : I just upgraded from High Sierra to Mojave, the problem was there in High Sierra and is still there in Mojave (I did a clean install, no update) I also realised that in AME 2018 Preferences, in the "Media" tab, the option "Enable hardware accelerated decoding" is grayed out, but in AME2019/AME2020 this option is available, weird right ? Because everything is working with AME2018 and not AME2019/2020 maybe it's a permission issue ? I mean Adobe made some changes in the software which my hackintosh configuration is not handling well. I did a test on my MacBook (13" i7 2015) and no problem at all with the same version of Adobe softwares and same version of Mojave. I've also just switched to VirtualSMC ans tried to install all hackintosh Kext in /L/E (with Hackintool Kext installer) instead of using clover injection, but same problem. Here is the send me file : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1EHRUTi9V4vGF6J5sj-bhy8-yPB1FUa_M Here is my config (HW acceleration working): - MacOs Mojave 10.14.6 (18G3020) - i5-3570K - GA-Z77-D3H - 16Go RAM 2400Mhz DDR3 - Sapphire Radeon RX 580 4Go - Kingston SSD 256 Go (system) - Toshiba SSD 128 Go (cache) - 2* WD HDD 1To (backup) - 2* Toshiba USB 3.0 HDD 2To (working files) Thanks for your help! Hi @MaLd0n ! Just upgraded to 10.14.6 today and thunderbolt stopped working, do you think this is related to some modifications in macos ? Hi! I just did a fresh install of MacOs with the Mojave Olarilla Image and EFI folder from this post : https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11237 The only problem I have yet (didn't have the time to check everything yet) is with the name of the processor showed in the "About This Mac" menu : the system says it's i9 and not the i7 I have, is it possible to fix that ? Also I can see Thunderbolt in the "PCI" section of system informations but there is nothing in the "Thunderbolt" section, is it normal ? Here is my config : - i7-9700K - Gigaabyte z390 DESIGNARE - Corsair Vengeance LPX 2*8Go 3200mhz - MSI ARMOR Radeon RX 570 4go - System drive : Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500go (NVME M.2) And here is the send me file (I can't upload it on the forum, it says the file is too big) : https://we.tl/t-z9BjEGInRI Thanks for your help!! [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], Thank ou very much for your help! The second solution (updated version of AtherosL1cEthernet.kext.zip) seems to work well (first solution didn't worked, no more Ethernet Connexion in Network Preferences), I'll do more tests tomorrow to be sure but I think the problem is solved Have a great evening!

Hello! I'm facing a problem since a few days on my Hackintosh build : - MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G8030) - Intel Core i5-3570K - GA-Z77-D3H - Radeon RX 580 4Go The problem is : after some time my internet connexion crashes (built in Ethernet Port). In network preferences Ethernet still says "Connected" but no more internet connexion. Rebooting solve the problem. I think this is due to huge download/upload transfert rates, which makes the driver stop working, before there was no problem (I just installed the 1Gb Optical Fiber lastweek, I had 100Mb Optical Fiber before). It happens mostly when uploading big video files with Google Drive (for my work as a videographer). Here is the Send Me file, just in case it could help with this problem! (file too big to be send in the attachements) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YquIVE_amvCqOCG711jtzoBihMrT5Eq3 Thanks in advance for your help MSTRKKRFT

Thank you very much! Now USB 2.0 and 3.0 seems to work fine, but I still have problems with USB 3.1 Type-C port. It was working without dsdt patching and now it's showing me an error when I plug my USB Type-C HDD. The error message says something like "USB accessories has been disabled. Unplug the energy greedy accessory in order to re-activate the USB devices" Thanks for your help again! Edit : After a few minutes the USB Type-C seems to work fine, but I've had this error message multiple times today and yesterday.
