Does anyone have any success installing catalina on lga 775? I couldn't get it to install. Always stuck at disk utility not showing any disk at installer. Already trying MaLd0n giuide to patch appleahci in clover but still no success. My spec is asrock g41m-s3, xeon l5420, 8gb ram dual channel, 1 ssd, 2 hdd, nvidia gtx 650

Thank you. Just to be sure, it's AppleAHCIPort.kext right? Where it's located? On USB there's only Install MacOS Catalina. But when I open package content there is no S/L/E. Just InstallESD and bunch of others files. Or am I done wrong steps? Also I've red some comment that on lga775 systems needed to replace apple telemetry with one from HS, is it true?

Hey @MaLd0n, yesterday I tried to install Catalina but on disk utility it doesn't show any SSD nor HDD. On High Sierra it's shown and I can install HS. Mobo Asrock G41M-S3 Bios 1.60/latest, 1 ssd (sandisk), 2 hdd (seagate and wd), using default config no added kext or others, just disable voodootscsync. Any advices?

Yes, I used this method to block kext But is it possible to just delete this kext? Edit: found the problem source, I forgot the usb installer is still attached

Thank you sir, will try it now Also if it's not OOT, how to completely disable voodooTSCSync? When it's enabled its causing kernel panic so I need to manually disable it at clover boot
