Hi,
I am trying to complete my Mavericks installation on a P8P67 Deluxe but I am running into issues on my post installation.
The basic Mavericks installation using unishit went quite smooth. I am able to use networking and even the sleep mode works.
But sound is not working out of the box ... When running the multishit post installation I get kernel panics afterwards ...
I have now built a custom DSDT for my ASUS P8P67 Deluxe board using the modified 2302 BIOS from
http://biosrepo.wordpress.com/asus/p67-2.
Unfortunately I am still facing kernel panics after using my custom DSDT with multishit 6.1. I am thus wondering if the following problems I encountered during the process of building it with the DSDT editor may be causing these.
I had 18 compilation errors (8 Warnings, 8 Remarks) with the clean system extracted DSDT (see attached screenshot)
I then pressed the "Fix errors" button and applied the patches for the "ASUS P8P67 Deluxe" available at http://Olarila.com/forum/packs.php. This resulted 6 Warnings As I am still experiencing kernel panics after running multishit with the custom DSDT I am not sure this process worked. The following presets where done when loading the custom DSDT:
Drivers -> Disk -> 3rd Party SATA
Drivers -> Misc -> FakeSMC v5.3.820
Drivers -> System -> AppleRTC Patch for CMOS Reset
Bootloaders -> Chimera v2.2.1
Customize -> Boot Options -> Basic Boot Options
Customize -> Boot Options -> Generate CPU States
Customize -> Boot Options -> Hibernate Mode - Desktop
Customize -> Boot Options -> Use KernelCache
Customize -> System Definition -> Mac Pro -> Mac Pro 3,1
Customize -> Themes -> tonycrapx86 Black
The only additional change I did is to add the ALC889 Audio driver (in the With DSDT section)
I now still get kernel panic
I suspect that problems may related to my custom DSDT file ...
Any feedback appreciated.
Thanks,
Olaf
