Depende do que você considera mais fácil, com alguma pesquisa e suporte eu cheguei num sistema estável através do Clover aplicando pouquíssimos patches fora dele. Muito do que é patcheado sobre o kernel, sobre kexts ou sobre a DSDT já são opções inclusas no Clover. Outros patches simples podem ainda ser feitos através dele. Na minha opinião, o poder do Clover acaba o tornando mais fácil para criar o hack, só que isso vai exigir mais pesquisa, já com o Chameleon vai dar mais trabalho, mas talvez seja mais simples. O importante mesmo, pra mim, é que num próximo hack que eu for fazer, com o aprendizado que eu tive do Clover, será muito mais rápido de atingir um estado bem avançado de funcionamento.

O multishit não é uma boa opção pra obter suporte, ele é um programa de código fechado que ninguém sabe o que realmente ele está fazendo por trás das cortinas. Quando você instala um sistema retail, e utiliza soluções de código aberto sobre ele, fica mais fácil para todos. Abraços

Para usuários do Clover com este problema: segundo a wiki dele, são poucos os processadores que precisam de patch na LPC. Eu nunca bootei o meu sem o Clover e a kext sempre foi carregada, então não sei se eles quiseram dizer que o próprio bootloader já aplica algo ou que a LPC é nativamente suportada. Para casos onde a AppleLPC não é carregada, usa-se o FakeLPC_0020 nas DSDT Fixes do Clover. Não há necessidade, nesse caso, de fazer patch na DSDT manualmente.

Seu processador é Ivy Bridge, tente trocar esta linha do patch: 0x57, 0x1E, 0x00, 0x00 por esta: 0x15, 0x28, 0x00, 0x00 Após reiniciar com a nova DSDT, verifique novamente se a AppleLPC está carregada: kextstat | grep LPC Como está o sleep? Como está variando a frequência do seu processador? (veja no HWMonitor) (O importante aqui é ver se ele atinge frequências intermediárias ou apenas mínima/máxima)

O problema no sleep está relacionado ao fato de você estar usando o NullCPUPowerManagement, com ele seu processador só tem dois estados, mínimo ou máximo... Se ele realmente está em FAT32, não foi correta sua gravação pelo win32diskimager. A .raw do olaria quando corretamente gravada, cria uma partição de 200MB chamada EFI em FAT32 contendo o Clover e o Chameleon, e outra partição com o restante do espaço em hfs+ contendo o Install.

You need to patch your DSDT, but for this AppleHDA.kext you'll need layout-id 01 instead of 0C.

Não conheço a geração de SSDT do Everest, mas se ele gerou a SSDT-1 exatamente pro seu processador, deve estar correta (tem que cuidar pois existem várias SSDTs). Não vai precisar de patches nela. Eu conheço e aprovo o script ssdtPRGen.sh Na DSDT, você aplica patches conforme a necessidade, isto é, você nota que algo está errado e então verifica como corrigir isto. Às vezes, a única solução é mesmo fazendo um patch manual na DSDT, mas a maioria dos patches comuns já podem ser feitos via Clover. Se você tem Disabler.kext ou NullCPUPowerManagement.kext instalada (ou nas kexts do Clover) veja se o sistema boota sem ela (faça isso de uma forma segura, ou seja, que você tenha como recuperar esta extensão mais tarde caso não boote). Se não bootar, coloque a SSDT-1.aml na pasta patched do Clover e tente novamente. Se ainda não der, você precisa de alguns kernel patches - pra sua sorte, todos estão no Clover também. Aqui eu precisei do Lapic, AppleRTC e AICPUPM. Tente um por vez, faça combinações... Até descobrir o ideal para sua máquina, que é sempre: quanto menos, melhor. Se nada der certo, recupere a kext...

Se você conseguiu bootar no Mac sem ter o NullCPUPowerManagement, não é necessário instalá-lo. Essa kext só serve para conseguir subir a instalação. Uma vez instalado, faça as configurações adequadas para gerenciamento de energia no seu processador. O Clover Configurator atualiza todo o seu config.plist para as opções estarem adequadas com as versões mais recentes do Clover, isso se você está usando também o Configurator mais recente (3.16 enquanto escrevo). Obviamente, verifique se seu Clover está atualizado também. Nesse caso, a melhor para dizer o que pode ser o problema é você mesmo: faça uma cópia do seu config.plist antes de editá-lo no Configurator, então faça qualquer edição e salve. Compare o antes e o depois para descobrir quais outras opções o Configurator alterou.

Now about your questions: VGA/HDMI for Intel HD Graphics is a problem. HDMI is not supported and VGA is only supported if you don't use the laptop's display. Read here. Wake from sleep and commands with the Fn key: DSDT patches are required. Check on the link if you can identify the ones for your processor family. Audio without Voodoo: check here if you can find the kext for your sound card.
