  1. Apparently, HDMI will work OK and I've booted into it without adding any kexts by taking the board ID from iMac14,2 and dropping that into the existing 18,3 SMBIOS (10.13.5) I needed WhateverGreen and IntelGraphicsFixup to use HDMI before. Now to try doing that with 10.13.6 I will let you know if that works Cheers
  2. I swapped the clover folder and booted from the Z370 drive on the H270. Still shocking pink. Tried adding the two kexts. No change but thanks anyway. RX560 only seems to go as far as 10.13.5. Bye Bye RX560
  3. Thanks Mald0n! I did only try it with a version that was a few months old so this might do the trick.
  4. My super native Z370 flew through the update with no issues, still on UHD GFX and only five kexts (combo update) Already on DVI on the H270 with the Radeon. Is Mojave any better?
  5. 10.13.6 update has gone shocking pink when my Radeon kicks in. Had to revert to clone of 10.13.5 to get back to normal again. I'm pretty sure it's not DSDT related as it's running perfect on 10.13.5. Any idea how to get around around it?
  6. What's the situation with the USB by PM Heart patch? Does it replace USBInjectAll kext? Can it be used in conjunction raise port limit patch?
  7. I could never get HDMI audio working on the H270 HD3 using Intel HD 630 gfx using any platform id on iMac18,3 smbios. I tried every possible method I could think of, including 59120000. I just had a hunch to check out iMacPro1,1 and, for the very first time, there it was It worked great on 10.13.5 with no injection but went away after removing IntelGraphicsFixup kext. I added the kext back in and there it was again. I was just testing things with different combinations of gfx cards, etc. Both systems are now back on their proper drives with the H270 back on AMD RX560 and the Z370 on internal gfx running the full patch DSDT's you did. Running great! My conclusion is that iMac18,3 is best for running AMD RX5xx and iMacPro1,1 is best for internal gfx.
  8. iMacPro1.1 SmBios (using a test drive on different setups) On Kaby Lake (i7 7700k), HDMI audio needs IntelGraphicsFixup kext to work but system will boot fine without that kext and with no Intel injection. (Because of the changes in hardware configuration, this is using a non, full patch DSDT by MaLd0n) On Coffee Lake (i7 8700k), HDMI audio doesn't even need that kext to work. (Same deal regarding DSDT) So, the Coffee Lake i7's are a great way to build a very stripped down, simple, but fast as hell, system Also the best bet if you don't want or need a graphics card and still want sleep and HDMI to work.
  9. Discovered a few interesting things regarding SmBios. iMacPro1.1 actually gets HDMI audio working on Kaby Lake i7 7700k with internal Intel 630 GFX but still reboots when waking from sleep. Coffee Lake i7 8700k works fully using internal GFX and even sleep works fine on iMacPro1.1. Not the easiest smbios to get a Radeon working though! I had to revert to iMac18.3 to not accelerate into a black screen.
  10. OK cool. That's kinda what I figured. Both these are sleeping like babies and running really well! The full patch thing is really great! Less dependency on clover and fewer kexts has gotta be better.
  11. That's cool. Thanks MaLd0n. Is there any point in fixing the warnings? There's only three on the H270 but there are a bunch on the Z370.
  12. Here's the H270 HD3 full dump with FW added to DSDT. It must be a Radeon HDMI thing then. Send me PlexiPuters H270 FW Added.zip
  13. H270 HD3 Firewire drive does not load with Firewire card added to DSDT but card shows up in PCI as slot 9. Firewire drive loads OK on previous full patch DSDT. AMD RX560 works fine on DVI port without whatevergreen.kext, but needs that kext for HDMI port to work (this has always been the case with my RX560) Picture has always been slightly more clear, and colour an bit more realistic on DVI port with my Gigabyte AMD RX560. Are you seeing a similar thing with your RX580?
  14. I know! I've never had a hack like this before. It doesn't even seem to need Shiki.kext. Youtube N all that stuff is working fine without it. No random freezes. Graphics work great. HDMI audio works great. Sleep and wake works great. I should really buy an RX580 for it but it's working so well without one, I'm not in any hurry. I'm running G Skill Trident Z ram on standard for both full dumps. Can I still use profile 1 on this DSDT? Standard ram profile comes out at 2133. Profile 1 is 3000.
  15. Hi MaLd0n And here's a new full dump of the H270 after reboot, running the new clover folder. (Same deal with the serial) Send me PlexiPuters H270 Full Patch.zip
  16. Hi MaLd0n Here's a new full dump of the Z370 after reboot, running the new clover folder. (I changed the serial number back to the one I was running) Send me PlexiPuters Z370 Full Patch.zip
  17. Hi MaLd0n And here's a full dump with F4 clover of the H270 HD3/i7 7700k/AMD RX 560 (Gigabyte) running on DSDT with the two patches also in clover. If you could do a full patch on this as well, that would be excellent! Cheers PlexiPuter Send me PlexiPuters H270 (New).zip
  18. Hi MaLd0n Here's a full dump with F4 clover of the Z370 Gaming K3/i7 8700k/Intel UHD Graphics running on DSDT with the two patches also in clover. If you could do a full patch, that would be great. Cheers PlexiPuter Send me PlexiPuters Z370 (New).zip
  19. I'd love to know how to remove ssdt dependencies? I'm now down to just SATA and IGPU on the Z370. I've now remamed everything in the DSDT but the boot log shows that SSDT still needs those two remames in clover. Kexts I'm using are: AppleALC.kext EFICheckDisabler.kext FakeSMC.kext IntelGraphicsFixup.kext IntelMausiEthernet.kext Lilu.kext USBInjectAll.kext System is working really well so it's just me being curious and wanting to learn more about DSDT on 200/300 series
  20. Thanks MaLd0n! I've now updated to Clover_v2.4k_r4515. What does the com.apple.driver.AppleMikeyDriver Patch Assertions patch do? Not added that yet as I don't know what it does. I've got rid of XHCI-200-series-injector.kext as well. I'm using USB 10.13.4+ by PMHeart patch instead of raise port limit. I can recommend this board! Everything seems to be working, even on internal graphics! Sleep is even working with no Radeon RX560 installed, and also HDMI audio is working OTB using internal graphics. I've got the audio set to 7 in both the DSDT and in config.plist/Devices. It's doing 43 FPS in Cinebench and 27200 in Geekbench. I'm not using any overclock. This is on 10.13.5 installed onto a mechanical HDD then cloned over to an SSD so it's still running HFS+J. (My method of keeping it HFS)
  21. Hi MaLd0n I got the Z370 running quickly from a CCC clone of 10.13.5 I booted using a DSDT from a very similar board but It would be great if you could do the same edits to my vanilla DSDT taken from pressing F4 in clover. I've attached the send me files. System so far is: Z370 Gaming K3 (Bios F6) i7 8700k intel UHD Graphics Thanks a lot PlexiPuter Send me PlexiPuter Z370.zip
  22. So I should tick the "DropOEM" box in the SSDT part of clover config? All five renames are contained in the DSDT I'm running on
  23. Hi MaLd0n Looking forward to giving this a spin Got down to just two DSDT rename patches left in clover config (GFX0 to IGPU and SAT0 to SATA) The DSDT.aml has all five renames but system still seems to need these remaining two in order to boot I'd love to be able to get rid of those two Also, getting intrigued about a six core so ordered a i7 8700k and a Gigabyte Z370 Gaming K3 What do you think for SMBIOS? iMacPro 1.1?
  24. OK great! Thanks a lot MaLd0n I can now wake it up with a bluetooth mouse with the dongle plugged into a USB2.0 port I'll need to get a couple graphics cards for these two new machines now, in order to get sleep and wake working properly. I was thinking of a Gigabyte AMD RX 560. I've heard these are mean't to be stable? Cheers PlexiPuter
