I got my 23" asus monitor. I want to try dual monitor in hackintosh but its not woking. I tried t connect and it gives me this images that is blurry. and a lot of pixel. Can someone help me how to setup dual monitor? I am using a VGA cable. 4g ram type DDR3 500-HDD SATA-AHCI Chipset: Sandy bridge Bios Brand: Insyde - HP Mother board model: 181B GPU: Intel HD 3000 Chipset: HM77

I tried everything you said. I even tried clover bootloader.. Still the same. Perhaps dual booting wasn't a good idea. I think i should reinstall all and make only one partition.

Yes. Exactly i have installed the loader http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/59-chameleon-22-svn. After installing the loader itself i installed wizard. Follow everything on the image. I did create the extra folder now. Reinstall everything. Select the macprobook 8,1 on smbios tab and open the plist on extra folder. I didnt touch the DSDT tab because from what i understand DSDT are for only the very compatible hardware. Try to restart. Remove the usb stick. Boot to HD but still went through windows without any boot options

I installed the bootloader. The chameleon bootloader. I read everything. This is the part i always read http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1716. You can see that the link on chameleon(not the wizard) is portugese. There's no way i can read the post reply of others. Chameleon wizard lacks the installation step only image so i searh google and youtube. about the update. You can see on the first image the update radio button is selected. I Installed it. That's the update im talking about.

Here what i did First I update chameleon wizard like in the picture image upload After that I got to the SMbios tab like on the pic below and select the macbook pro 8,1 photo hosting sites I tried to save it to Extra folder but extra folder is missing(picture below) so i dont know where to save and save it to my documents folder. screenshot tool Then i go to the org.chameleon.boot(picture below) photo hosting software and you can see it says "org.chameleon.boot.plist not found". Where should i get the plist? I open the plist from the save documents then restart but still the same everytime i boot i cant see mac partition and always need the usb in order to boot to my installed mac . I hope my english is clear.

Okay Downloaded the wizard. Update it. I go to smbios click the edit button and select the macbookpro8,1. Go to org.chameleon.boot. open the plist generated from smbios. Restart my pc. Remove the usb stick. Boot to my HD and it doesnt work. It just went straight to my windows os. I didnt see any boot options for windows or mac. am i doing this right?

OKay. I have installed chameleon bootloader base here http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1716. The problem though the link in the chameleon is portugese language. Thats not the problem though. THe problem is after installing the chameleon bootloader i was expecting to boot to my hardrive where i can choose to boot to windows or mac but its not the case. In order to booot to mac i have to insert my usb again and again then boot to the ML installation drive. Is there something I miss? The other thing is that if i boot to mac. I have to type "-v cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No" again. How to make it default so that i dont have to type it again?

Thanks it works. For some reason. The command on the link I already entered it when i choose to boot on my HD wiht "-s cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No". After running the command i reboot and still the same got stuck. But now i entered again when i found you reply and it works. Guest its a matter of pure luck

Hi. After installing kext I follow from this post http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1716 I installed the fake FakeSMC.kex, NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and the HD intel HD300 kext from osx.com. I restart my pc and got this What should i do? I got stuck.

This is solve using the command I boot from HD and use the following command -s cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No then type this command fsck -fy mount -uw / mkdir /intelhd_backup cd /System/Library/Extensions mv AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelSNB* /intelhd_backup reboot from here http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2193

Okay here is my scenarion. I used Olarila bootable image for intel pc. Boot the usb then create a partition for win and hackintosh. Everything went well, no problems or error. After that I first install the windows8 then after successfully installing win8 i install Olarila mac image. Everything was okay until when the moment the installer was about to finish the installation. It went black screen then restarts on its own. I booted again to USB and found this. You can see the Olarila is installed even though it went black before finishing installation. I booted that and i got stuck in here I thought i could reinstall. Boot again to my usb. use the -v cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No. After a while i got stuck in here Should i try to create a bootable Olarila again?

I downloaded the system info app. I ran the systeminfo.exe go to file and select the check comaptibility. After the only one result shows up. its about my nvidia GeFroce GT 630M with a green check mark. On the tutorial page of systeminfo it says that green check mark means "device was reported as working". Does that mean the on my laptop thats the only device as working? or the ony device that is not working? Explanation: The reason i ask this is because artur told me and said that " nvidia don't work.. only intel hd 3000". But on system info its green mark. should'nt it be a sad smiley icon mark instead of green check mark? Here is the image

Hi. I really really need a help. Seems like Im the only one has this problem. I am trying to install iatkos ml2 on my HP pavilion DV6. Everything went smooth even at boot, no errors or anything. But when i select disk utility to install osx i cant find my HDD.
