  1. Hey art will you make a new dsdt, im on 10.8.4 again here is the attached send me file I'm trying to get sleep to work, for some reason it will sleep but I have to use powerbutton to wake and once I wake it takes 5 minutes for USB keyboard, mouse and display to work again. The attached send me file is a clean dsdt current system: - 3570k - Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z - Asus gtx 680 - 8gb 1866mhz DDR G. Skill ram please if you can make the proper edits for sound and sleep Send me Dexter’s Mac Pro.zip
  2. btw art is this patched for sleep? I'm able to get sleep going now by using darkwake=10 along with DSDT above with ALC889 patch and HPET patch. However my keyboard and mouse cannot wake up pc only powerbutton can wake.
  3. Alright so I used the DSDT you posted, applied my audio patch which is ALC889 and I also had to use the HPET patch so that I don't get a kernal panic. I got sleep to work by using Darkwake=8 or 10 but the thing is my mouse or keyboard doesn't wake the system. I have to press the power. Is there anotehr solution? Or what might be going on?
  4. so i tried the dsdt, hackintosh boots but i lose my keyboard and mouse.
  5. Thank you! Is there any special instructions for placing the DSDT in /extra/ folder? Do I have to repair disk permissions? Also I'm a little confused with the last part you said about HDEF (0C) 12? What should I do? I'm sorry I'm a newbie

  7. Here is what I'm running: - Intel 3570k - Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z (patched 3603 Bios) - Asus GTX680 - 8gb G.Skill 1866mhz DDR3 - 1tb WD HDD - Rosewill Capstone 650w Power Supply Pretty much this is what I did: -Used unishit 1.5.3 to create a Mountain Lion 10.8 Usb stick -Used GraphicsEnabler=No -x -v on USB boot. -Installed Mountain Lion on HDD and rebooted -Used GraphicsEnabler=No to boot into ML HDD -Used multishit 5.3.1 and installed EASYBEAST ONLY -Rebooted and used GraphicsEnabler=No to boot into ML HDD -Ran multishit again and used: a.Drivers > Audio > Without DSDT> ALC889 b.Network > Intel - hnak's Appleintel c.Boot Options > GraphicsEnabler=No d.Drivers > Disk > 3rd Party Sata and TRIM Enabler e.Drivers > Misc. > FakeSMC v5.1.61 Plugins, USB 3.0 Universal f.Drivers > System > Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement deleted: ElliotforceLegacyRTC, Ev0reboot.kext, and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext Here is my chameleon boot plist: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> EthernetBuiltIn Yes GraphicsEnabler No Kernel mach_kernel Kernel Flags darkwake=0 npci=0x3000 -v Legacy Logo Yes Timeout 2 UseKernelCache Yes update:Installed 10.8.2 with no hickups, reinstalled audio drivers through MB. Also overclocked CPU to 4.5ghz, below are some benches. my only issue is getting sleep to work. What happens is when I hit sleep under OSX it goes to sleep and seconds later it wakes back up. Upon further investigation this is what is happening in system log: Tried to compile my own DSDT and placed in in extra/ attached is the DSDT I made, if I used easybeast installation and I want to use DSDT do I just copy the DSDT.aml in /extra and I'll be all set? Anywho if someone can take a look at my DSDT and compile me a new one with corrections that will help me get sleep to work I'd appreciate. DSDT.aml.zip
