  1. Hi maldon , I am familiar with this, but with hackintool there is no codec shown as the sound tab turns up empty. with your run me it shows No audio codec detected!!no audio codecs found! Be sure to have AppleHDA or VoodooHDA somewere. I have used layout id 26 and 99 with apple alc.kext latest version. this is as per the efi posted by devbolji. Attached is my ioreg, hackintool screen shot, and audio detection by your run me . https://www.upload.ee/files/14548316/MacBook_Air.zip.html Please have a look, rest all works. 2. Hi Sai Devji & Maldon I have an infinix xi slim with core i5 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035G1with Icelake Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller. Using you efi folder everything works fine, except I don't have sound/audio as no device is recognized. I have attempted using the alc id as 26 or 99 and used your latest oc 0.8.4,0.8.5 efi folders but no audio still. Rest video, track pad, battery, cameras all work fine. The config plist of ALC 1.76 does have info on this audio device, do i need a config.plist or kext patch. or is something needed in bios setting? Could you help me set up to get the audio working. Thanks in advance

  4. hi, try this set SecureBootModel to default in opencore enable sip and clear nvram.
  5. @Maldon, First of all very sorry for the delay in acknowledging your very prompt reply. Thanks indeed. Actually I uploaded an ioreg with the version that works with my system. I am attaching an ioreg with booting with latest 0.8.4 build of Opencore, I cant see those entries. Could you have a look if am not being too bothersome. This is when there is not touchpad, with the latest OC builds. Thanks no touchpad MacBook Pro.zip
  6. Hi Maldon, My laptop set up is working fine with Ventura beta 4 and most things working as expected, but after updating to the latest Opencore development build of version 0.8.3 specifically the last 3 builds, and 0.8.4 builds, I loose the touch pad completely. If I revert back to earlier dev builds of Opencore that is earlier than 22/7/2022, my touchpad works as expected. But with newer builds cursor is stuck , I can use a usb mouse fully functional but touch pad pane is gone from preferences. Rest all still works as expected. Battery is detected and works normally. My laptop is is an Asus x512 FAC laptop with full dsdt patched by you. i3 10110u, cometlake It has touchpad: ELAN 1300 \_SB.PCI0.I2C1.ETPD I updated opencore using OCAT update and sync technique and all the kext and drivers are from dortania repo builds. Kext used are voodooI2C, voodooI2CHID and voodoops2controller kext. On looking at system log I find : (VoodooGPIO) <compose failure [UUID]> 2022-08-05 15:49:30.734390+0530 0x76 Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::Loading GPIO Data for CannonLake-LP 2022-08-05 15:49:37.474939+0530 0x2dc Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::VoodooGPIO Init! 2022-08-05 15:49:37.474940+0530 0x2dc Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::VoodooGPIO Initializing Community 0 2022-08-05 15:49:37.474952+0530 0x2dc Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::VoodooGPIO Initializing Community 1 2022-08-05 15:49:37.474960+0530 0x2dc Default 0x0 0 0 kernel: (VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::VoodooGPIO Initializing Community 2 (VoodooGPIO) VoodooGPIOCannonLakeLP::GPIO Controller is already awake! My dsdt config.plist for 0.8.3 and older one and kext folder are attached. Please advise how to get touchpad back with latest opencore builds. Things I have tried are reset nvram, fiddle with order of voodoo i2c kext entries in config.plist, use older versions of these kexts. But I van only get it working with an older 0.8.3 version. 8. Hello Maldon. Thanks to your dsdt patched I have everything working except for one thing that is WEBCAM. The webcam is recognized, seen in system report as in attached screen shot but the screen remains black in photo booth, face time and image-capture etc. I have used facetimehd kext, anyisightcam kext and the likes but this is still no go. Any suggestions, this is the only thing that is left , apart from that I am using this as my daily driver. Can you point me in the right direction to get it working. Thanks. What works: wifi, sound/audio, graphics, brightness, bluetooth, track-pad, keyboard backlight, battery. webcam recognised screenshot.zip
  9. Restart sometimes install is complete in spite of what it says.
  10. Hi, Maldon, Thanks for the DSDT, How do I use this, should I keep only this in ACPI folder or add other SSDTs as well. I have done this, but no webcam still. It flickers once at every new boot on opening face-time and then black screen saying no input from camera for face-time. No overall change in my functionality. Can it be because I am using it from an external drive, I feel that should not be of significance. Do I keep usbinjectall and xhciunsupported.kext or lose them when using this dsdt. Any suggestions to proceed further Thanks for your patience
  11. Hi, this is the runme result with olarila cofeelake cometlake efi folder, only alc kext is extra. ACPI has only olarila ssdt Nothing else. Please have a look. Thanks https://www.upload.ee/files/13571983/Send_me_levomac.zip.html
  12. Hi, Maldon, I have got most of the things running, require only the following things working. to complete my setup: 1. Webcam not working, shows black screen, is visible in System report as USB2.0 HD UVC Cam, I have tried USB Mapping , Anyisightcam.kext, all other possibilities but it remains black screen 2. Bluetooth : mine is intel card so may not work in Monterey but after USB port mapping, when I make Bluetooth port as internal then I loose trackpad functionality In my case whether using, USB Map, USBtool box, Hackintool I detect ports, 1,3,5,6,& 10. Port 10 is detected as Bluetooth, if I make its T:10:255 To make it as internal then I loose trackpad function, as well as the preference pane for trackpad. And webcam and Bluetooth still don’t work.. 3. No keyboard brightness control as well. I ave attached the link to my send me file for need help on this issue. Can you help me to get only 2 of these working that is the webcam and keyboard brightness working, I can live without bluetooth functionality Thanks I am on Monterey 12.0.1 ASUS VivoBook X512FAC Intel core i3, 10th Gen ,10110u, intel uhd Opencore .75 Link to result of runme.app attached: https://www.upload.ee/files/13569888/Send_me_Levomac_MacBook-Air.zip.html
  13. Thanks man, your help is great, I was able to complete install and boot into Monterey. I have two questions if that is not a bother to you. 1.How did imac17.1, smbios work, just for knowledge, as per guides the, smbios should be made considering the following in this order, your cpu, whether mobile or desktop, inbuilt gpu or separate card etc. So how did imac17,work is this config list spoofed. 2. How do I set up and fine tune battery and power management, wifi etc. I know both will work as I tried another EFI folder form a similar but i5 laptop and I was able to boot to recovery with working wifi etc. Are any specific setup required because its a olarila image or I can individualize settings to my laptop and it will still work. Many thanks, for all your help. I have seen you now helping people for more than 10 years over the net. Extraordinary abilities and you are a blessing and overall good fortune for the scene. Regards
  14. Hi maldon, I am trying to install your Olarila Monterey image install on a seagate external hard disk drive . From the usb made from your image, I can boot, format my external disk as APFS with guid scheme, the installer begins and after the first boot when the second boot to complete install begins, I get an error saying : "error occurred while verifying firmware" . My hardware is : Asus Vivobook X512FAC, comet lake i3 10110u cpu with intel UHD graphics, intel wifi, I have tried the SMBIOS of imac20.1 as well as mac book pro 16.2 using gen smbios on windows. but error remains. I only have access to a windows computer. How do I proceed? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
