I tried the edited DSDT file.It solved my kernel panic. The alc888 controller is detected now along with a patched AppleHDA for layout-id 0C 00 00 00.The only problem is i get no sound internal speakers or through headphone jack. -

Thank you for replying.I have been trying for a long time to make dsdt edit for alc888.Having a patch for the audio would be better than the generic voodoo kext since it kernel panics sometimes during loading and little crackle. It has been kernel panicing since 10.8.0 and still does on 10.9.1.There are various patches and i have tried many times. The problem i run into is always errors and will not compile.Every patch i try to compile errors using dsdt editor or MaciASL. Awesome board and awesome build.May be an older board but it still good.Found this board still kicking around and it was a big success. Mavericks 10.9.1 using MYHack 3.3 MSI P45 Diamond Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHZ 6 GB DDR3 1333 2 Realtek Ethernet 8168 (kext manually loaded for ether) Geforce GT 220 1G Graphics Enabler=Yes CMI 8738 Sound Card Since this board does not have audio i decided to install the 8738.Im sure other cards will work.

Acer 8730g 17 inch Core 2 duo 2.4 ghz Geforce 9600M GT 512mb (originally had a Radeon Mobility 3650) GraphicsEnabler=Yes No NvEnablers Ok i got full graphics acceleration.Updated to 10.8.4 was only getting black screen on VGA and HDMI.I know OS X was detecting card but something was not right. So i updated the VGA bios to a newer version. When i booted back up screen resolution was at 1920x1080x32.I have been trying everything with this card EFI string you name it.I think OS X does not like certain bios in certain vga cards.Remember what i said about LG TV in profile? Now it is there. You can also see the difference in rom version.VGA only works and black screen with HDMI. okay so i updated to 10.8.4 and get black screen. But i am testing this laptop with no internal monitor.Internal Monitor is out.I'm trying through VGA and HDMI ports.I am using a 42inch LG TV and i think LG TV should be displaying in system info. The OS boots up fine up until monitor detection at the end of its boot thats when i get no video signal on tv. boot flags -x or -f same cant get in OSX. Amd quad Core 9750 2.4GHZ MSI K9N6PGM2 v2 2.2 eup motherboard (black board) realtek 8169 Ati radeon Turks HD 6570 1G Graphics Enabler=no 6759 1002 Ati config GIBBA AppleNForceATA.imk64bit.kext is a must for sata detection on this board 10.8 amd kernel bios date 11/29/2011 Audio ALC888 This motherboard was a big pain in the ass to get going but i got it going.Seems to be very stable with full graphics acceleration.Turn accelleration off in browser.XBMC works perfect. The only issue is i get a little bit of tearing on the left side of screen when i minimize a window. To remove the tearing i would just maximize a window the tearing goes away.No tearing when browsing internet or watching video. Do you think i have wrong framebuffer?

startrax replied to startrax's topic in Mountain Lion (10.8) BR
ola pessoal Ok i have found the kext responsible for Radeon HD mobility 3650 ATIRadeonX2000 ATIRadeonX2000GA ATIRadeonX2000GLDriver ATIRadeonX2000VADriver ATINDRV ATIRNDRV Natit and is modified for this graphics family. Looking at kextstat these files are not even loading on Mountain Lion 10.8.3. Natit not loading I tried ATY_int all i get is starting for card 9591 the quitting for card 9591. Evoenabler does nothing. Another thing i noticed was when i installed Snow Leopard 10.6.6 evoenabler reported card as radeon 4890 and of course no acceleration. Attached is the natit modified for this card. Natit.kext.zip -
