I have tried the method above by: changing the codec layout ID in "NVRAM > boot-args" adding "layout-id > (hex number) > data" under DeviceProperties > Pciroot(0x0)/Pci(0x1f,0x3) saving, shutting down, and turning it back on However, the result remains the same: the codec/sound is still not detected. help me for enable Audio/ Sound & mic I tried installing macOS Sonoma on a Dell Optiplex 7080 using OP_Core_simply and succeeded, but I ran into one issue: my audio isn't detected in Hackintool(PCIe audio is disabled), and the audio codec isn't being recognized.
