  1. Hi What can I do if "My-audio-codec" does not find any audio codec on my Hackintosh? Thanks Capture d’écran, le 2024-08-15 à 09.46.43.zip
  2. Thanks for your reply. Then why can I not see any SATA UEFI drive or usb install EFI drive? Can you take a look at my configurations? IMG_0129.jpeg.zip IMG_0130.jpeg.zip IMG_0131.jpeg.zip
  3. Hi I cannot find a way to enable AHCI on my Gigabyte Z690 UD AX DDR4. The bios does show the SATA drive on which Sonoma is installed for this card and cpu; I can also see the usb installation drive in the bios but when I boot with F12 I end up on the Bios window. By the way I updated to the latest Bios version F28. I'm certainly missing a particuler bios setting. When I enable CSM I can see my drives in the boot menu but they are not displayed as UEFI even though they are. With CSM disabled the UEFI drives just don't show up. How do you enable AHCI on my motherboard? Thanks
  4. Hi I found out what was causing the problem: the Nvidia GT610 graphics card. After installing an Amd RX 570 8 gigs ram, Photo Booth is working all right.
  5. Thanks. I'll try that and let you know.
  6. See PhotoBooth screenshot. Capture d’écran, le 2024-02-02 à 09.18.21.zip
  7. I have several hackintosh either X99 or Coffee Lake on which the web cam is working with FaceTime but only display a black screeen with Photo Booth. I might add that my Alder Lake build is working fine on both FaceTime and Photo Booth. Any suggestion?
  8. Thanks for your advice. But if you read my reply above, you will understand that I found the solution to Sonoma audio by reinstallin Sonoma.
  9. Hi I ran RunMe and it found no audio codec. I did a clean install of Sonoma and audio is working fine without having anything to do. Thanks
  10. With Ventura, I used the codec for 897. MSN web site says 892 and 897 for this motherboard. How do I know which one I should use? Should I input the codec number somewhere? Where? Thanks
  11. Hi I have Ventura working perfectly on MSi-Z390 A Pro with alcid layout 7; all the audio ports are working fine. I installed Sonoma on a second SSD on the same computer but I cannot get any audio ports to work; the same alcid layout 7 used for Ventura gives no audio port working. I tested most layouts for ALC 892 and ALC897 with no luck. Has anyone been successful with Sonoma audio on the same motherboard? Thanks
  12. Hi Thanks for your reply. Do you have any suggestion I could start with?
  13. Hi Why do I keep getting this error window saying that my system has run out of ram while I only have only a few applications open and I have 32 go ram? This error causes the system to freez and I have to reboot every time, On every reboot, the date, the year and the time are wrong, What is causing this error and how do I get rid of it. I am running Ventura 13.4 on Alder Lake with 2 TB NVME and 32 go ram. Thanks DSC00687.JPG.pdf.zip
  14. Hi I have this weird problem with two different Hackintosh, a X99 and a CoffeeLake one. I was able to install NordVPN on both computers but when I install NordPass, I only get a white (empty) rectangle when I open the application. I had no problem installing both apps on my Alder Lake hack. Any idea? Thanks
  15. Hi Could you fix my DSDT; Gigabyte Z690 UD AX. Rear panel audio does not work neither does onboard Wifi. Everything else is working fine using the Alder Lake EFI folder. Thanks Send me iMacPro-de-admin.zip
  16. Gigabte Z690 UD AX-i3-12100. ram 32 go, Nvidia GT 710. Built in Intel HD 730 graphics and WiFi don't work. Computer sees only one monitor hooked to me GT 710. Rear panel audio does not work. Using contro key does not detect second monitor.I used Alder Lake EFI folder. RunMe: https://www.transfernow.net/dl/20221117k2DcmU3T/6d2TJDjo
  17. I checked "Devirtualiz MMIO" in boo quirks and I keep getting the same error. The boot process starts up but then it stops as if the current was suddenly cut off and then gets back to the boot window.
  18. Hi I tried all the fakecpuid availlable with Clover Configurator and none worked. The computer does not see the UIOS EFI partition on a Clover installation usb. I found out that when the computer starts to boot from the Open Core usb installation drive it eventually stops loading and reboots. If it is a wrong bios setting I have no idea which one it is. In your opinion, which component is giving me all this trouble: the cpu or the MSI SLI motherboard? Thanks
  19. A new attempt with Ventura installed on a SSD on which I pasted the X99 Haswell EFI. I got this error. Is this an Olarila EFI error? IMG_0023.jpg.zip
  20. I don't understand why you keep saying that that folder is not from Olarila. I only use software found on your site. Besides I never dragged folders to a new location; I always deleted the EFI on the target SSD and pasted the new one. I'll make sure CSM is disabled and 4G decoding is enabled. Thanks
  21. Hi I was never able to boot from the usb installer using either Haswell or Broadwell on both computers. However, using a workaround I was able to install Ventura on a SSD using a CoffeeLake computer and pasting the X99 Broadwell EFI folder on the SSD. This Ventura SSD boots perfectly witth the Gigbyte X99, Xeon Broadwell cpu. Unfortunately, I had no luck using the same workaround with the MSI X99, i7-5280 which is a Haswell E type cpu. When trying to boot from the Ventura SSD with the X99 Haswelle EFI folder, I get the attached error. Thanks for your kind assistance. DSC00585.JPG.zip
  22. If this is not an Olarila folder, I wonder what it is; I downloaded it from the Olarila download section. I picked X99 Haswell E. I sent you the error message that is displayed on my computer screen. Is this what you want or do you want something else? I installed the OS with the Create Install Media command, then I added the Olarila EFI folder. Did I do anything wrong? I just created a new installation usb drive using Etcher, Olarila Ventura Beta 10 raw, and X99 Clover EFi. I ran it and I got the error displayed on the pic attached. Then I used Clover configurator and selected Haswell E fake cpuid and ran the installer again with exactly the same result shown on the pic attached, IMG_0016.jpg.zip
  23. I did. I am getting the very same error message I posted previously. DSC00584.JPG.zip
  24. I tried with both Haswell adn Broadwell. No luck. i7 5280K is Haswell E. I just made a new attempt with the X99 Haswell E efi folder and I got the exact same message I posted previously.
  25. I have two X 99 computers, both running Catalina 10.15.7 because I have never been able to install anything higher. One is a MSI = i7-5280. the other a Gigabyte with a Xeon cpu. All my attempts to install either Big Sur, Monterey or Ventura with Clover end up with the same sreen message. Am I wasting my time or is it possible to install Ventura on those two builds? Thanks DSC00584.JPG.zip
